Two Great Nights

We had two great nights here. The first night we came in after dinner elsewhere but wanted to just listen to the fun Irish music and asked if we could just listen for a while. The manager said have a seat and enjoy so we did for about an hour. We stopped back the next night for dinner and were... read more

We had lunch here the day we went to Adare, and it was delicious! The Bangers and Mash with the apple and sage sausages lived up to the recommendation from the servers and then some! Service was friendly, and the seating was plentiful and comfortable. It was an excellent choice.

We stopped at Aunty Lena's on our way to Kilarney. We wanted lunch and to catch one of the rugby world cup matches. It was packed, to be expected, but great. People accommodated us and we squeezed in. The food was pretty standard fare. Pretty typical place, we enjoyed ourselves. Great to place to stop in for a meal or... More

Went to Aunty Lena's for dinner while staying at the Adare Villas. It was a cold/damp nite. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. Very good Shepard's Pie. Patrick, our waiter, was attentive and kind. The fireplace was burning and it really gave the place a warm atmosphere. Seafood chowder was delicious as well. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Adare just after lunch and immediately were looking for a place for a bite and a pint that was clean with a fire in the fireplace and provided a bit of light. I realize that most pubs are dark and cozy but with the rain and flooding we had endured during storm Frank, we were due for... More

Recently stopped here on the way from Killarney to Dublin for breakfast. The pub is very cosy inside. The service was good with quick delivery of the meal. Would have liked to come back in the evening as it looked like the place would have been much better for a pint then. Food was good and the service was efficient.... More

Lovely traditional atmosphere in this pub with a blazing fire each day on the winter . Food is pricey and only ok . Portions are very large but mainly processed food .
