Description: Aunty Lena's Bar situated in Adare Village arguably the prettiest village...
Aunty Lena's Bar situated in Adare Village arguably the prettiest village in Ireland was established in 1806 and has famously served the needs of its patrons with great success. Our highly skilled kitchen team serve delicious traditional Irish food all day and in tandem with that our bar stocks an extensive selection of beers, wines and the finest Irish whiskeys to help wash the meal down with. Our customers are a mix of local people and visiting tourists who we are more than happy to cater for with our own brand of superior customer service. Our large LCD High Definition TVs provide our customers with the perfect place to view all of the major sporting events (especially Munster, Limerick & Adare matches) live, in full comfort and with an atmosphere that you have to experience to believe. We also have live traditional music sessions every Friday night where audience participation is a must and people travel far and wide to experience this 'Lenas' Craic! We have also hosted some of the new and established live bands from around the region as we believe strongly in providing the best possible entertainment for our patrons, if they're happy then so are we!

Friendly Bar, Great Fish and Chips

We asked for recommendations at the TI and were directed to Aunty Lena's just down the street. The fish and chips were huge and delicious, the Guiness was cold, and the bartender was friendly and helpful. This was a great place to stop for lunch on the trip from Shannon to Killarney..

This was a great dinner with good music and food. It is right on the main street in Adare and stands out due to the music and larger size.

Enjoyed a beer or two here and a tasty lunch. There was a gaelic match on the large screen so a crowd had gathered in to watch. Good atmosphere. Good conversation with a local gentleman who explained all the rules of the game to me.

From Killarney to Enistimon, we needed to eat dinner. This Pub has the TripAdvisor sign in front of its door, so we decided to try it out. The food isn't the best, but totally ok. There were also a lot of people in it, on a Tuesday evening, so I guess the place is pretty popular.

Our first family pub experience. The food was decent and service was good, but the place was incredibly crowded (it was a Friday evening).

We stopped here to break our long journey to Kerry. We were glad that we did . The bar food was lovely. Fish and chips were very tasty. Nice bar but toilets need an upgrade. Free parking in the carpark behind the tourist office.Overall recommended for the great food.

Stopped in for dinner around 1830 and it was packed. Left and went to another pub, but made our way back for a drink and ended up eating the best fish and chips I've had in Ireland so far while watching steeplechase on TV. Our waitress was very nice. The bartender was a bit more stand offish
