Pub was clean, open space, very comfortable. Service was quick, polite and food was excellent. Delicious fish and chips! Atmosphere is very welcoming, casual dining and mingling with the local residents.

We turned up on Sunday evening at 8.30 and luckily weren't hungry after a huge lunch. The place looks great and the staff were friendly, but there was no steak, fish, fish patties, stew, panininis, etc etc left. What we did end up with was very tasty so it was all OK, but rather funny really.

Good irish food for lunch and some local craft beers on tap. Definitely a place I would go back to. Very friendly staff too.

The burger had the most amazing beef paddy real beef and no fluff with fab chips. Great atmosphere and freindly staff.

I'm partial to Irish pubs and this is a typical Irish pub atomosphere with typical Irish grub. The Irish stew was very good. I'm sorry we missed the live music.

We stayed for a week in Adare and tried all 4 pubs. Sean Collins was best by far. The food is excellent. ( I recommend the beef stew, fish and chips and the chocolate biscuit cake for dessert!) The waitresses (Tara and Andrea) were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. There was great live music 2 of the nights we were... More

I am not sure if this bar is "related" to the Pat Collins bar just around the corner, but Sean Collins was "just okay." I ordered the quintessential fish and chips and found the batter to be bland and the fries (chips) in need of salt. The waiter was intrigued with "us Americans," and was actually pretty attentive, but the... More

Stopped here on our way to Portmagee. Had reservations for the hotel the previous night but flight was cancelled so we lost a day. We wanted to make a stop and say hello and have lunch because Birdie was so nice in all our correspondences! Lunch was fantastic, the bar was lively but quiet and what a beautiful little place!... I must admit I was skeptical - but eating is believing. The food was really lovely. We had a whole bunch of different things - a panini, a wrap, goat cheese salad, pizza, fish cakes and even a couple of deserts. It was all really good. The service was really good and friendly. I recommend it.
