The best of Kinsale

Family week away in Kinsale in July. This was our favourite spot for food. Great service, friendly staff, delicious sea food , and warm atmosphere. Try a walk along the coastal path beside the Spaniard, then back for a pint and food.

Friends were there last year & said that we must go. We had a really good time with the locals & I think that's what travelling is all about.

Had dinner here last night with my family and really enjoyed it, We had the chowder for starters which is very filling so recommend getting a small bowl and the mussles and scampi amongst other dishes. All very nice especially my mussles. The French waitress was very pleasant which was very nice as you dont find waitresses like that much... More

Great food and service. Good Value for money and a nice spot for a drink after- very cosy for a hot toddy in winter

Great chowder in a nice atmosphere. Don't miss out on a visit to this great bar. Well worth the walk out from the town. Friendly staff.

A beautiful old Pub, very historic and picturesque, we just had a drink and wanted to return for dinner, unfortunately didn't make it. The food looked great especially the Mussels a lot of people were ordering them very large dish. Lots of people were sitting outside on a nice little patio , great place to visit !!

All the portions were quite big, but the food was delicious. The service was good as well. Located bit outside of the city centre, but worth the walk.

In a very nice location. Had a very nice chowder and brown bread with two lovely glasses of white wine mid day on a beautiful sunny day with family recently. Great ambience and friendly service. Chowder a little salty.

We wandered in here based on a recommendation and were most pleasantly surprised. Very cheerful and attentive servers helped us enjoy wonderful Brie en crote appetizer and later the fresh fish of the day. Food was outstanding, however the wine list is not as strong as the food selections. Moved to the pub portion of the restaurant after dinner and... More

Great food and drinks in this quaint little pub, tables outside should the sun be out. Went there with friends who were regulars and it really was as good as described. Some of the pub grub is of a very high standard and the prices very reasonable.
