We went to The Spaniard after building up a big appetite at Blarney Castle and Charles Fort for a late lunch (about 2ish). We were the only tourists and sat outside on a gorgeous sunny day. The pints were appreciated and the Cajun ckn wrap I had along with roasted potatoes was one of the 2 best meals I had... More

A five star meal with very pleasant staff served in a supreme style. Personally my choice was beef which was very tender and sufficient for me on the day. The desert menu has such a various choice it is very hard just to pick what one should choose. I must pay tribute to to Paul, Gary and Sarah for the... More

Stopped in for a couple of pints of Beamish on the way to Man Fridays for dinner. Chatty barman, friendly locals, great beer.

Just across the bay and up the hill from town center, this well established pub/restaurant is a great spot for dinner or just a few drinks. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff excellent. Four of us enjoyed a very good dinner after a day of fighting the winds at Old Head Golf Course. The trio of... More

This place is outside the center of Kinsale, away from the crowds and about 15 minutes romantic walking on the north shore. Very nice food nad the pub is adjusted to the restaurant so one could continue drinking his beer.

I expected a much more lively place going by the reviews, but an excellent pub. The guinness is top notch and the long thin bar is very original with loads of history. Service was friendly and prompt. I was staying just over the road and felt at home as soon as i walked in. Foodwise, the fish is very very... More

Without a doubt, the best Seafood Chowder in Kinsale. Had a nice walk out to the Spaniard, lovely welcoming place and people, Guinness good but the chowder was the highlight of the day. Thanks and keep it up.
