Romantic Atmosphere

After touring all day, it was a nice relaxing, one on one restaurant with the ambience of romance. Great Sticky Toffee Pudding

Arrived at 8.20 for 8.30 we had to wait in bar 30 minutes to be seated. I had a 8oz steak which only came with onion rings and no mushrooms and had a 4 euro supplement and it came with chips. Menu was not explained to us that veg was extra outside of 27 euro set menu fee. Had to... More

We stayed a block up from town and would walk through the White House to and from town. The soups and daily specials were awesome. The staff helpful with local lore and ideas of things to do. The mayor of the town owns it so it's a hot spot for local chat. In the backroom is a print about the... More

One of our glasses had a lip stick mark. Restuarant was very quiet but got very little service. Had to repeatedly go over to the bar to request drinks, the bill etc. Went to ask for the card machine at the bar and the waitress was standing playing with her phone. Coffee and dessert ok. Didn't enjoy my main at... More

Visited just for wars up and quick dessert and ended enchanted by delicious food and nice interior. It was quite costly, though.

First time visiting The White House in Kinsale. The food was suberb. I recommend the Coronation Chicken wrap. Great value too. Highly recommended.

My wife and I went there for dinner at the recommendation of our B&B hosts. My wife had seafood crepes and I had fish and chips, food was excellent along with service. they had music playing, which was excellent, purchased a CD from the group.

we visited in early January. It was the only place we could get a table for 8. We were seated in the restaurant with only 2 other tables occupied, We ordered starter and mains but only 1 starter came. When we asked where they were, the waiter said he never heard us ordering the scallops starters. Very disappointing. We proceeded... More

We stopped here for a few drinks early one Friday afternoon/evening. Was surprisingly busy with a great buzz. Stayed for a few hours.

The people who run this place know what they're doing. If you want an Irish breakfast with lots of coffee, this is the place. If you want a quiet place for lunch or a pint a Guinness, this is it. Or, if you want fancy, have dinner in their dining room. This place is at the center of Kinsale and... More
