Nearly perfect

I went here with my girlfriend last Saturday (March 21st) and there was no problem getting a table even though the bar was packed due to the Rugby being on TV. I ordered the Chowder for Started and Steak Baguette for main. I was very happy with both (nearly). The only one thing I was a little... read more

Visited for dinner on a winter Sunday evening. The food and service were good, with the exception of the children menu item we ordered for the youngest member of our party. The main course for the adults was good, but they burned my son's burger. While I believe it to be an isolated incident, I had an issue with my... More

Food quality was about average. Service was good and the waitresses were very helpful. The restraunt was in the center of town within easy walking distance to the B&B

The White House was a "5" my last visit. It was warm and inviting. Now it seems like it turned into more of a sports bar. The barkeep did not converse with us, we had to make an effort to get attention. It was disappointing, as I had raved about this spot to the friend I was traveling with, and... More

After a lovely stroll around the beautiful town of Kinsale of an afternoon, we decided that it was time for a spot of lunch an maybe even a tipple. As you will know if you've been to Kinsale, you are spoiled for choice in that regard but we wandered into the White House and we were delighted that we did.... More

Was with a birthday party of 12 people, they were very accommodating and friendly. Food was great, recommend the Irish stew and oysters. Live music on a Saturday night was an added bonus.

We really liked this comfortable spot in downtown Kinsale. A couple of us had a great Irish Stew. Service was very good and prices were reasonable.
