As you will know if you've been to Kinsale, you are spoiled for choice in that regard but we wandered into the White House and we were delighted that we did.... More

Was with a birthday party of 12 people, they were very accommodating and friendly. Food was great, recommend the Irish stew and oysters. Live music on a Saturday night was an added bonus.

We really liked this comfortable spot in downtown Kinsale. A couple of us had a great Irish Stew. Service was very good and prices were reasonable.

On our second night in Kinsale we decided on dinner at "The White House". Marti had the lamb stew, she described it as more of a lamb soup than stew. She said it was good. I ordered the lamb shank, one of my favorite meals, this one was not. The lamb shank came out server in a bowl and was... More

Called in one night for food, we had the stew which was very nice. Service was fine, the decor reminded me more of an old fashioned hotel. Nothing wrong with it, but not execeptional either.

I have to mark this as my favorite meal of the trip. The scallops were great and the fettuccini was pretty good also. The waitress was fun and the wine was good too. The atmosphere was just fun and the guests were fun to visit with also.

We stopped by for lunch and were so happy with our selections that we came back the following day for dinner and drinks. Over the course of our two visits,we sampled the mussels(awesome!),cottage pie, lamb stew and all of it was excellent. The servers were fun, professional and efficient. We sat in the bar area both times but did notice that... More
