Crackpots was one of the many great seafood meals of our Ireland trip. We traveled with 5 adults, and we all truly enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was wonderful. Crackpots came recommended by our B&B and it did not disappoint! More

Really lovely meal there last year. Think chef has changed since our last visit but I'm sure it's still very good. More

I have to admit we were a few minutes late on arrival to the restaurant but nothing will excuse the staff and their rude behaviour, I still can't believe we were treated so badly and that this restaurant is so popular...the food wasn't great either. Very Disappointed. More

We ate here in the summer after a recommendation. The setting is lovely, it's a really intimate cosy restaurant. We had a great table, very private with no table near us so we could chat without being overheard. We had fish for starters and mains, this really is a fish lovers paradise. The food was top notch with enough time... More

Whilst on a rare , one night, kids free break in Kinsale last week we were armed with lots of recommendations from foodie friends about where we ' must ' eat out ! Of course everyone mentions Fishy Fishy.. but not being the biggest fan of seafood that was never an option. Others were recommended but we decided to take... More

Although I have been visiting Kinsale for the past 20 years this was my first visit to Crackpots. It is a little off the beaten track in Kinsale (but Kinsale is very small - so don't worry) & hidden away. It may be my imagination but there seemed to be a slighly different clientel here - more bohemian. I did... More
