The hits: apricot/duck rolls, seared teriyaki beef, soup (noodles, pork belly, chili, pot stickers). The misses: prawns and chicken satay - not that either of these were bad, it's that they were OK and nothing to get excited about. There's no real decor to speak of in the upstairs dining area upstairs, and the table service was friendly but hurried.... More

After getting a lot of recommendations about this restaurant we finally managed a long overdue visit last week, the service was quick and good, its a nice concept of offering lots of small portions which were priced accordingly thus not getting fed up with the same dish, we just felt the place was lacking in ambience, maybe upstairs was a... Didn't anticipate that we get Asian food traveling to Ireland. But glad we did. It was recommended to us by our hosts at the Old Presbytery B&B. We ordered an array of the tapas from the Pork Belly to Lasagne to the Caesar and more. All the dishes were enjoyed and the wine was reasonably priced.

This restaurant takes Asian fusion food to a completely different level. The tastes are incredibly clean and the food wholesome. The service was absolutely excellent and in the finest traditions of Irish catering. I would recommend eating a selection of tapas to completely overwhelm your taste buds. What a gem of a place. A true highlight of our holiday.

Kinsale is the last place you'd expect to find an Asian tapas restaurant, but what a find! We enjoyed all our choices, but the spiced braised pork belly and the Asian lasagne were historic. We are still reliving the flavours four days later. The house wine was pretty good also. You don't go to the Shanghai Express for its decor... More

Ate here last night and were surprised to get a table on a Friday night. We shared a prawn salad special to start which was superb. Ther were plenty of prawns and the dressing was to die for. We had the vegetable massaman and spicy prawns which were both delicious. The bottle of fitou was also spot on. The waitress... More

This is a really unusual restaurant. If you value image and decor above the taste of the food, it probably isn't the place for you. But, if you are interested in taste, don't be put off by the slightly scruffy appearance; it has really good food, friendly staff and is very good value. We ate 18 out of the 19... More
