I had the task of organising my wife's 40th and was recommended the Shanghai Express by friends. There was 20 of us upstairs comfortably seated on a long table. The food came out pretty fast and it was delicious.. Try the Seared beef with wasabi mash, its out of this World!! The Asian style food overall was fantastic, beautifully served... More

We had a fantastic Asian tapas meal here, and not too bad a price either for a touristy area. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. The lamb Rendang was sooo tender, the chicken satay was tender & tasty, duck spring rolls absolutely lovely. We also had beef teriyaki, pork belly with star anise, garlic prawns, chicken... More

I'm a regular to this cosy little restaurant and i am never disappointed. There is an excellent selection of asian tapas and full meals on the menu. There is something there for everyone. If you go, you have to try the terriaki beef!

I had food from shanghai express a few days ago. The place seems to get very busy in the evenings. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're not eating early (the place opens at 6pm). I had the pad Thai which was tasty and plentiful. My girlfriend had the sweet and sour chicken which was delicious, I'd really recommend it... More

If you need a break from seafood chowder, this is the place to go! Service is quick and efficient and the food is very good. Portions are tapas style so you can sample a lot - the lamb rendang is divine, as are the potstickers.

3 of us shared 7 tapas and this left no room for anything else! The food is delicious - wasabi beef and the lasagne are a must. The restaurant is small and although they do not do reservations, try and get seating downstairs as there is a better atmosphere there.

After reading some good reviews on this restaurant we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. They have a great range of Asian fusion dishes that made it difficult for us to make decision. The dishes we chose were excellent and were very tasty and different from other Asian style restaurants we had been to. Bookings... More
