Delicious, called in for breakfast there...lovely small cafe, greeted by lovely member of staff, very friendly and welcoming. Started with a lovely coffee, followed on by eggs benedict, swapped the english muffin for wholemeal brown bread and it was all just right :) not the biggest fan of streaky bacon but breakfast went down a treat. They had a nice... More

We were looking for a place for dinner when we stumbled upon their sandwich board advertising they were now opened for dinner. Apparently they open for breakfast and lunch during the off season and then start up for dinner during the tourist season. We were their first customers! We all had the cod special and it was excellent, both in... More

Me, my husband and 2 year old daughter were recently in Kinsale for the day. After looking at a few menus for lunch we decided on Cucina as it looked interesting. We are so happy we did - the food was incredible - it seemed that every component of each dish (smoked salmon bruschetta and crab/avocado salad) was well thought... More

Nice little spot for a quick bite or a relaxing read of the newspapers with good grub and friendly staff.

I had breakfast in Cuciba last week and since then just can't stop thinking about it. The baked eggs with chorizo , spinach and Parmesan was just so yummie and a great way to start the day. I have eaten here a few times for lunch/ morning coffee and have never been disappointed. The service is good, friendly atmosphere and... More

This wouldnt be the typical "Kinsale" restaurant, no fuss is put on useless "authentic" decoration. The interior are welcoming in a modern uncomplicated style. We went there for brunch and were more than nicely surprised. While we did not expect anyhting bad, the unpretentious menu hides some nice surprises. A real efort is apparently made on authentic recipes and to... More

I've been to this small restaurant a few times in the beautiful town of Kinsale for breakfast and lunch and I've never been disappointed. The menu is quite simple but smart and non-pretentious. The presentation is excellent and it's all served up in an informal but professional way. And they've got the best coffee in town.

I took my family to cucina for breakfast last Saturday . The food was excellent and well prepared . Luckily I had some vouchers, as did seemingly most of the other diners, that meant that the meal was excellent value .
