Had a great lunch here. The homemade breaded goujons were just the right size portion washed down with a pint of rebel red. The waitress was nice and welcoming and the rest of the menu looked enticing. It also made us laugh when asking for the bill we got a jug of milk but that didn't take away from the... More

I went here for a Sunday carvery. We arrived around 1pm not late by any standards. The place was busy but there was plenty of free seats. It would help if they had a simple blackboard menu "Welcome to the Trident, today's Carvery specials are blah blah, please take a seat and we will be pleased to welcome you and... More

Located right on the harbour, this place has great views and is a good place to meet. Parking is good which can be an issue in Kinsale. Lively bar downstairs with good bar food and lots of atmosphere. Sunday lunch has a good buffet. Friendly staff make it memorable and a good range of drinks and local beers. Late night... More

My Girlfriend and I stayed in the Trident for out first weekend away together and we could not have been happier. We where upgraded to an executive harbour view room on arival without even asking. The staff where very friendly and helpful. The rim was quite big, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great bar downstairs and only a lovely two... More

You would never expect such gourmet meals from such a quaint and homey setting. Service was great and food was even better. Are there three dinners and two breakfasts and sell we're wonderful. Great views overlooking harbor.

Ate here on two occasions with a family group during our week in Kinsale. We ate upstairs in the restaurant rather than the cafe/bistro downstairs. The menu was a little fiddly and felt it tried a little too hard to impress. While it was tasty and everyone enjoyed their meals, I felt it was overpriced for what was presented. The... More

Very much enjoyed a number of meals in the Trident bar this trip. The menu is excellent and they always have some specials. One of these the 'monkfish scampi style' was exceptional. Good service and always a warm and happy welcome from the bar manager. Great place to eat and relax with a pint of Guinness. Very reasonable prices compared... More

We had dinner here one evening. Good food at a reasonable price. There is not a lot of parking though so avoid at busy times.

Stayed here with a tour group. Could have been a little cleaner. Wi-fi was not good. Breakfast was good - nice selection.
