When we pulled into the Trident carpark and saw the pier with its beautiful yachts docked we were hopeful of a room with a sea view. What we got was just that and a free upgrade as well...high fives all round. The room itself had a huge wall of glass overlooking the boats and sea. It was spacious and the... More

We ate in the bar a few times last summer and found it v kid friendly and the food was good. However this summer so far we have found the food to be far less generous and the standard is definitely not as good as we had previously experienced. It is not cheap so they need to watch the standard of the... We stayed as an extended family this weekend. We had a suite which was lovely and large with a great bathroom. Beds were wonderfully comfortable. Dinner last night was of great quality with attentive and very pleasant staff. My daughter and I also took the short walk down to the leisure centre and the gym was very well equipped. My... More

Stopped off here for a late lunch at the Café. We sat outside in stunning weather. Staff helpful & friendly & service was quick & efficient. I ordered an open sandwich - a smoked salmon & prawn combo open sandwich served on Irish Soda Bread while my sister enjoyed a goats cheese with salad. We drank tea & sparkling water.... More

Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, well beyound routine hotel fare. Even if we didn't stay there it would be the ideal place to dine.

The location is beautiful - close to Kinsale marina. The food is good and tasty, house wines very average. The service great. The steak excellent, salmon just solidly average. Overall very positive experience.

I have been here several times over the years, the position on the end of the quay, overlooking the harbour is great. The decor in the bar is starting to show its age, but the service, food and atmosphere more than make up for it. Never had a bad meal. Bar food is reasonably priced.

The food was excellent and served promptly to our 66 members by a very friendly staff. The food was always piping hot and a great menu every night during our 3 day stay

Ordered the "pan fried " sea bass and salsa and was disappointed to get a soggy plate of what seemed like steamed fish alongside tasteless vegetables. The salsa was barely visible on the plate and the cost of this dish was €18.95. I politely shared my feedback with staff who apologised but still charged full price. Head to one of... More

Popped in for a quick lunch, thankfully the football was on a we had a most enjoyable and hearty meal, with chilled stout, warm fresh soda bread and perfectly cooked fish, what more could you ask for on a wet day in Kinsale.
