would not recommend this as a dining experience.not suitable for people with mobility problems.i could cook better at home where we would have a nicer atmosphere.

Id have made as good myself at home. Got the Penn arribata with chicken. The pasta an the sauce tasted like they were Tesco own brand straight out of pack. Not much taste at all. Was glad when finished meal. Asked for bread with it aswell. Hoping to get nice fresh bread but no. Was ok.

Visited on a Wednesday evening with a group of 5 (3 adults, 2 children). Daughters aged 4 and 6 shared a child's portion of pasta and it was plenty. Burger was excellent, only managed to finish half, husband polished his off! Vegetarian lasagne also good size, and tasty. Waiter was on his own for most of evening and did a... More

As a large family of fifteen we visited mio's to end a short holiday in clonakilty. From start to finish the experience was fantastic!! We all had starters, mains and desert. The service was excellent! The food was amazing! Every single one of us cleared our plates. It was clear that nothing but the best ingredients went into the beautiful... More

Lovely, child's friendly place with reasonable prices. My 5 yrs old daughter could get her favourite taste pizza without any problem (which wasn't on menu card), my parents who visited me for holidays were enjoyed Mio's Warm Chicken and Bacon salad. Very friendly staff and chefs. We spent not to much money for lovely evening for 4 of us :-)

Friendly staff and delicious freshly prepared great range of Pasta, pizza and steak dishes. Welcoming atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Hidden away almost, at the top of stairs off a side street. Waiter could not have been nicer. For good value fresh food this was a real find.

Returning to Clonakilty I decided to give Mio's a try as I had not the opportunity on the previous visits. My friends and I were seated promptly and given menus and wine lists and we ordered drinks while looking over the menu which specialises in Pizza Pasta and Steak. (Before posting this review I noticed some people complained about the... More

This place is grand for casual dinning and the food is fresh and tasty . Having said that it's not a truly authentic Italian restaurant like so many other places in Ireland. That's only my opinion but I do feel it's worth saying. Staff were professional and welcoming.

I love Italian food. While in county cork recently I was taken to mio. The book promoting wines from the Bordeaux region set the tone for the evening. I had the gnocchi. Bland bland bland. Where was the wine, garlic and Italian herbs. The chicken and bacon looked liked they were hacked rather than sliced by a chef experienced in... More
