Lovely, child's friendly place with reasonable prices. My 5 yrs old daughter could get her favourite taste pizza without any problem (which wasn't on menu card), my parents who visited me for holidays were enjoyed Mio's Warm Chicken and Bacon salad. Very friendly staff and chefs. We spent not to much money for lovely evening for 4 of us :-)

Friendly staff and delicious freshly prepared great range of Pasta, pizza and steak dishes. Welcoming atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Hidden away almost, at the top of stairs off a side street. Waiter could not have been nicer. For good value fresh food this was a real find.

Returning to Clonakilty I decided to give Mio's a try as I had not the opportunity on the previous visits. My friends and I were seated promptly and given menus and wine lists and we ordered drinks while looking over the menu which specialises in Pizza Pasta and Steak. (Before posting this review I noticed some people complained about the... More

This place is grand for casual dinning and the food is fresh and tasty . Having said that it's not a truly authentic Italian restaurant like so many other places in Ireland. That's only my opinion but I do feel it's worth saying. Staff were professional and welcoming.

I love Italian food. While in county cork recently I was taken to mio. The book promoting wines from the Bordeaux region set the tone for the evening. I had the gnocchi. Bland bland bland. Where was the wine, garlic and Italian herbs. The chicken and bacon looked liked they were hacked rather than sliced by a chef experienced in... More

Sometimes when a restaurant is upstairs its hard to get people to climb them but this restaurant is worth the climb!! Greeted by a very friendly waitress who made us feel very welcome. Room is very tastefully decorated. Great menu choice had lovely stuffed mushrooms as a starter and carbonara as my main both delicious. Tiramisu and coffee finished off... More

Ate here recently whilst visiting some family friends, staff seemed friendly on entering and we were directed to a table quickly even though it looked rather busy. We shared a bottle of red, which I'm kicking myself for not writing down the name because it went down so well and I don't believe it was too pricey. I had the... More

My favorite is their pizza. Another must eat in place when you are in Clon. Not much to say but maybe wish it were bigger.
