I had a slice of cake with a drink! It was very nice but the service was not very nice. I'm not sure how to explain it but it seems like I was served by a grumpy lady. She was not very nice and not very patient either. She didn't smile or was happy that customers came into the Cafe.... More

Live in Clonakilty and said I would give this cafe a second chance after a previous bad experience. Called in and sat a table during lunchtime, table not very clean and menus handed to us by a grumpy lady. Sat for nearly 15 mins and order still not taken so got up and left. Never again , avoid

We went in looking for something light to eat and a coffee. Firstly as the waitress was clearing the table we ask for some menus and all we got was a grunt back that was neither yes or no, a couple of minutes later she dropped them down, after another 15 minutes and countless attempts to get the waitresses attention... We arrived at the same time as two other groups, took a table and were bought a menu. The decor is modern and inviting, and there was a good supply of magazines for browsing. We ordered, I requesting a black coffee with cold milk on the side, the waitress indicated a jug of milk on the table, which I though... More

I've been here before and found it pricy. I've avoided it many times since for that reason, but went back for another try recently. Should have asked the prices of the cakes as I was a bit shocked when paying. Staff that served me didn't greet me on arrival and left me standing at the counter (at which point I... More

We got the last table on Friday lunchtime - excellent quality food. A very busy spot and seemed to be frequented by locals which is always a good sign.

We visited this restaurant today. We waited for our order to be taken for 15 minutes and then gave up an left annoyed. We would not have minded waiting so long only for customers who came in after were served immediately. It was not like they didn't see us either as one lady said she would be with us soon... More
