We arrived at Gearoidins absolutely famished and hoping for a great feed in Clonakilty...The place is cozy and quaint, although there was no music in the background which makes for a dull atmosphere. The lady who served us was very nice and pleasant, we ordered lasagne and the roast chicken sandwich and black pudding croutes. The sandwich was lovely, fluffy... More

My mother and I had a lovely slice of almond and blackberry tart with coffee and tea at this excellent cafe. The tart was served warm with cream, mother would have liked ice cream with hers but it is not available here.Besides that the tart was the best we had in a long time. Coffee was excellent. Staff were very efficient... More

Lovely fresh food, bit of a wait as they were busy at lunchtime but everything cooked to order and good quality. Lovely lunch. Highly recommended.

Nice sandwich (spiced beef with horseradish sauce) but came with a portion of chips I did not ask for, charged €9.75 at till. Price not reflective of what I got at all - sliced white pan bread, no butter, no side salad, lovely spiced beef but overall quite dry. Very overpriced, won't return.

Stopped off here for refreshments. One had apple tart & tea, second person had mixed fruit crumble & coffee - €14.70. The food was lovely, but expensive for what it was.

We stopped off here recently and were surprised by the nice lunch. The roast of the day was excellent, really fresh, tasty and well prepared. It was pleasent surprise as we were just expecting average cafe type fare. The cakes are good too. Its a small place and just feels like a coffee shop. will def go back again. Just... More
