Delicious toasted sandwiches and good coffee

Busy cafe that has home made bread and good choice of coffees, I'd recommend their toasted sandwiches

Called in on spec for a bite to eat with some friends. Staff was welcoming and professional. We ordered fishcakes (salmon) My pals had salad and fries with their mains while I had some absolutely delicious mashed potatoes and tasty vegetables. Dessert was a mouthwatering lemon meringue pie. The final bill was very reasonable and great value for money. Will... More

Thank you for a lovely breakfast. We had scrambled eggs with bacon and it was delicious. Latte and flat white was nice, too. Very friendly service.

Had lunch today with a friend in Gearoidins, Clonakilty. We both had the smoked chicken salad which was delicious. It was served with an assortment of freshly baked breads. I followed up with a mixed berry crumble which was to die for and the coffee was top notch too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Well done to Gearoidins, keep... More

We visited Gearoidins a couple of times on a recent trip to County Cork. We found the food to be excellent, the service was good, for a small restaurant the menu was imaginative and varied, and the desserts were to die for. The baked goods they have to buy and take away are excellent as well - especially the Soda... More

Had a late lunch here earlier today and had a toddler with us. Beautiful food and gave an excellent baby bowl to our toddler (which wasn't all mashed together like 99% of places). Service was a little slow and no wifi but the food made up for it.

My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Sunday Lunch time, there was a big crowd when we went into the restaurant, only one table left, we were waiting for about 10 minutes for a menu, so we ordered our lunch, we waited 45 minutes for the lunch to be served, what a disgrace, that was after complaining... Had lunch here today, homemade lasagne, chips, garlic bread and salad. Absolutely delicious. And coffee afterwards which was amazing too. The staff are just lovely, very courteous and make you feel at ease, in this West Cork gem. I highly recommend a visit to Gearoidins.

Nice coffee and tasty cakes in a cosy setting. The service was good and the waitress was friendly though busy. The lunches looked nice though I didn't induge. Food looked nice and homemade.
