Good Food, Service..

Very tasty food and reasonably priced. Service a bit awkward but would try again. Quiet a small place and lovely views if you grab an outside table.

The bistro was packed with a great mix of families and private parties .. big menu and super staff who were floating around and working hard .. Great decor and the bar looks like a scene from Titanic ... did not feel like it was attached to a hotel ..but was top class

The food is very good here but there could be more novelty in the selection. It seems to me that the offerings on the menu haven't changed for a long time. They use super fresh fish and the serving sizes are outsize. They are great at pointing out all the allergens in their food which is helpful. However there is... More

I had a gluten free ham and salad sandwich with chips. It was quite a large portion - did not need the chips. We were not served very quickly and another table seated after us were having their order taken before us and so we were about to leave and go for a Chinese when the waiter convinced is to... More

I dined here with 6 other friends while staying in the apartments. Impressesed by the choice of menu and quality of food and service. Live music that night in the bat got us up dancing and singing. Excellent value for our meal and drinks. I had the days special of castletownbere cod and crab claws

You will not come away form this place hungry. As a coeliac it is not always easy to be confident eating out. But this was great the food was really lovely. Gluten free chips meant a little treat. The portions sizes are huge so the second night I came very hungry and still left so full. If I was to... More

Good food, not so lovely live music. Guy was not great. Waiter service was good, food was very nice when it arrived. It was crazy busy, which spoilt it a little at first, but later on in the evening it quiet ended down and was nice to be able to chat without shouting. Could do with free wifi too. Otherwise... Visited the Dunes Bistro on Saturday, its such a shame that a place in such a beautiful location relies on just that, the location. The service was terrible and food was lukewarm, served in baskets and hot plates so felt like you were eating tapas rather than a meal. We ordered drinks when ordering our meal, which we had to ask... More
