Being from the area, I had heard of the Fastnet Catch but had never been until I heard my parents raving about the place!! I decided to try it one night and we got 3 meal deals which was a good chunk of fresh fish (haddock today) and chips. the deal was €7.99 but you are getting what you pay... More

If you want to taste fish & chips as they should be this is the place to go! The fish was fresh, the chips & the batter were crisp, not greasy. Good service & good value.

If it is fish and chips you're after then Fastnet is the best in Clonakilty. We spotted it while passing through and decided to stop. We were glad we did. Decor was lovely. Service with a smile and a chat and the food was delicious.

I concur with the other reviews with an addition; the owners are wonderful people who take a great deal of pride in what they do. As we talked with the owners/servers/cook... More

My wife and I had dinner here last weekend and found it to be an absolutely wonderful restaurant. Very friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean and the most deliciously tastiest huge plate of fish and chips we've ever had! Gonna tell all our friends who are ever travelling this way to try it out, we know they won't be dissapointed. Fastnet... More

We were in Cork during the summer and went for a drive out to Clonakilty, saw the fastnet catch as we drove past, it was so clean and fresh looking that we went in, and by god was it worth the visit, the soup was first class and when the fish and chips arrived, well,,,,, I thought I'd died and...
