Fabulous steak!

Did not stay at the hotel, but was recommended to eat here - and was not disappointed. T-bone steak was epic, and generous serving of veg too. Nice pint, and a very good bottle of red made it a very pleasant evening. A reasonable trek out of town, but worth it, also excellent views across the bay.

I have eaten at this hotel a couple of times a year for the last ten years or so. I rarely write a review for a hotel restaurant, not having stayed there, but I just have to for this hotel. I have always lunched here with friends and the food is always outstanding - beautiful locally produced foods, cooked perfectly... More

Overlooking the Atlantic with Inchydoney beach across the bay, this is a family run hotel that is immaculately kept and maintained, and where you will always find a member of the family over seeing the day to day operations. I have eaten in the bar twice, once about a year ago when a wedding was on (this is a busy... More

Breakfast was fantastic each morning. We dined one evening and sampled the T Bone steak. Just mouthwatering and very large with plenty of roast veg.

Very belatedly adding a review having enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Easter Sunday (2014). All the staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food perfectly cooked and full of flavour...portion sizes so generous it was more than we could finish so we had to request a break and have our coffee in the lounge area a little while later! Special... More

We visited as a party of 6 on August 24th. The place was very busy. It was 1 hour before we were seated at a very small table in the bar, there was not enough room to eat comfortably. We ordered our meals and I ordered turkey, mash and chips for my daughter. When the meals came out they were warm, but we... More

Stunning views from Dunmore House Hotel. The food is vg and the staff are top notch and very customer oriented. Crab claw starter is SUPERB and the menu is varied to satisfy the young and not so young. We have visited 3 times so far this Summer and were not disappointed.

We are just back from a meal here and it was the nicest we had in clonakilty. I had prawns for starter and a T-bone steak.my girlfriend had soup and a chicken wrap. The menu is one of the most comprehensive I have ever seen. Service was good even though a wedding was taking place.our waiter a local farmers son... More

The Harte family have created a haven with beautiful views of the bay. Our family of 16 had afternoon tea. The food was beautifully presented and was very tasty. The staff were helpful and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our afternoon. We returned the morning we were leaving for breakfast. The hotel catered again for a large... More

Having read reviews decided to visit Dunmore House recently for Sunday lunch but were very dissapointed. Food was cold and presentation was awful. Cold cauliflower cheese red cabbage and mashed potatoes. Beef was ok but overall not what we expected having read lots of reviews. Perhaps chef has left.
