Irish bar/eating place worth a visit

Loved this place. Good Guiness, good food, good service in a typical Irish bar. Couldn't ask for more really. Enjoyed every minute of our visit.

Walking on Main St. After a tour of Jameson and my son chose thin-film glad he did. My husband and I enjoyed the best Shepherd's Pie we've had! Our son had a wonderful lamb dish. The deserts are definitely worth saving room for!

my husband and I visited here one Saturday evening and were seated upstairs. We were handed a menu which consisted of mostly fish priced between 20 to 30 euros!! we then asked for the bar menu which had meals at 15 euro. I don't mind paying good money for good food but the place looked terrible, even the dinner mats... More

A little gem on the main street which is well worth a visit. Food and choice was good and not ott price wise. Plenty of locals who wee on first name terms which is always a good sign. You could do a lot worse and well worth a visit.

Visited here on a recommendation from a friend. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. However the menu was very pricey with the scampi main course priced at €30 - we were surprised but thought it must be worth it. All I can say is the food was nothing more than average. We paid €200 for 4 persons with one... More

We visited the restaurant yesterday, being a Tuesday afternoon it was quiet, the place was clean and I have to say I was very impressed with the food! I had the burgers, they were small but very filling, the salad was really nice, I just wish there was more of it! The potatoes were delicious, and the chicken in the... More

I visited with my wife. I had the €35 set meal. My starter was the breaded mussels which were really excellent followed by the seafood platter which was very good. I couldn't finish the salad. My wife had a starter salad which was very good. Her main was a Caesar salad but it wasn't a true Caesar. No croutons and... More

We ate here on a busy Saturday night. Despite having no reserevation they fitted us in. Food portions are very large and very tasty too. Next time I eat here I will go for main course only. My husbands chowder was delightful and the best he has had anywhere. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

I visited Finin's last week. We sat at a large table by the window downstairs in the bar, I understand there is a restaurant upstairs too. For January it was very busy with a good buzz. I ordered the seafood platter which I was informed was sourced locally and to say it wAs delicious is an understatement - crab, smoked... More
