Have been to Sage several times and loved the atmosphere on each occasion however there are way too many supplements. A gang of us went for the early bird recently which was €23 for 2 courses and €27 or €28 I think for 3 courses which is overpriced for what you get. Menu is very different, choices were ok but... Such a great place, great food, great service. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it. Will go back again!

Just really great place for lunch. Chilled atmosphere with a nice menu. The idea of local food is also a cool idea. Also enjoyed Saturday breakfast.

First time here and The food was excellent (9/1/2015). I had fish which was great but my partner had bleue steak and it melted in the mouth. Wished I had ordered it. The desserts were lovely too. The place was hopping so this was a great indication that its a reputable place to eat. Will be back as the food... More

Sage, lovely restaurant. We went for lunch and had a starter and mains. I had a wonderful chicken and duck terrine and fish cakes for mains. Lovely style and flair and imagination with this food, the amalgam of flavours beautifully complimented each dish. Coffee was great, best double espresso in a long time, that needs saying.!! Minor issues were no... More

I'll be honest I only ended up in Sage because the Farmgate was closed, but I am so glad I got to try Sage instead. Just managed to get the last free table as the place was booked out. The staff were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was divine, I don't usually order beef but I... More

My family and I recently went here for dinner for my sisters birthday. We wouldn't usually head all the way to Midleton, but was definitely worth it. From the moment you walk in, Sage is very welcoming. There is a great buzz around the place as it is quite popular. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming but also very... More

We were staying in Midelton for a family wedding over the weekend. Now, when it comes to dining outside of Dublin, I always look for a recommendation from someone a)from there or near there b)I trust in terms of food selection c)who is well traveled themselves. This process has never let me down yet. So, when making arrangements for Midelton,... More

Had the privilege of having dinner here last night . This restaurant prides itself in spicing local produce and the good news is that you can taste this in every mouthful . The place has a lovely intimate feel to it and not too big , which allows for an emphasis on quality . Visitors to Midleton and indeed the... More
