Family Early Bird, Sunday Evening

We went to Sage at 6pm this evening, having booked a table (just as well, as it was very busy when we were leaving). We ate from the early bird menu, which provided excellent choice and value. The children's menu for our 12 & 9 years olds was also excellent, real food made from similar fresh... read more

Now it's hard to say unless you have tried each and all the other places, but so far, Sage has proven to be the best restaurant by a huge margin. Nice environments, friendly staff and delicious food sourced ethically in East Cork adds up to a wonderful experience. Deffo a place not to miss. Thumbs up!

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Their beef brisket is to die for and not over priced. If you visit you have to try the Midleton brick dessert. Have dined here many times and I am never disappointed.

One of my best restaurant experiences this year. Great food, great service, great place. All produce comes from 12 miles around. If you're a foodie, don't miss this one. Kevin looked after us royally.

Spotted the sign for sage down a side street by accident -- it was Sunday lunch time and busy - has no reservation but we (Mrs me & 7 month old) were made very welcome and accommodated immediately Service was prompt & efficient - slight error with the order but that was probably our fault - I started with black... Delicious meal from start to finish. I went here with my mum when in the area and went here based on trip advisor and other recommendations. We weren't disappointed. The menu had lots of options. Our starters were delicious. I had the chowder and mum the apple and beets starter. Both yummy and lovely to look at. For mains I... More

There is a great chef here in the kitchen. The plates of food that we were served were excellent. I enjoyed a really nice black pudding starter and my partner had a lush bowl of soup. We both had fish and a nice glass of white wine for our main course. I like that they say where all the food... More

For many years I talked about going for a meal in Sage Restaurant Midleton and last night I did. Food was fab. I ate 2 courses from early bird menu (main and desert). For the main I had breast of chicken with Sage's own black pudding, served with mushrooms, celeriac and the best mash potatoe ever. Desert I choose the... More
