I stopped for lunch on my way to Cork. There are very few restaurants offering excellent fare at reasonable prices like here. The restaurant was full and understandably so. I had a main course of haddock with mussels. It was delicious. I'm looking forward to returning to Sage.

My partner and I had Sunday lunch in Sage Midleton today. The food was utterly divine. Portions could have been a big bigger, but still beautiful food and presentation. Today was my first time in this restaurant, I will be back.

My husband and I ate here last night with friends. We had starters, main course and shared desserts. Food was delicious, service friendly, atmosphere cosy. A very enjoyable evening

Sage has the most interesting, tasty and exciting food available anywhere. The atmosphere and coffee are great too. A treat at reasonable prices.

The food was delicious but I felt a little overpriced. The atmosphere was lacking and the cool reception we got from the maître d almost made us leave as soon as we had arrived. The wait staff seemed very disorganised - we were served by no fewer than 5 different waiters/waitresses and it is definitely not ok to ask someone... More

Ate here on a Sunday evening with six family members and it was superb! Located off the Main Street in Midelton - in a quirky looking building. Furnishing and ambience are warm and welcoming. Staff very friendly and attentive - didn't miss a trick. Good choices, wide and varied and lives up to their billing of sourcing from within a... More

We joined friends for a Saturday night dinner at Sage at the end of January. Considering the time of year we were surprised that the restaurant was completely full. There was a great busy, buzzy atmosphere and we were impressed with the unusual menu. Some of the items required further explanation and there were some interesting specials as well. The... More

I ate here recently and found the food really nice but portion sizes were quiet small. I had the 2 course early bird menu for 2, 2 craft beers and a bottle of water. The bill came to €75 which I felt was a bit steep for what we got.

The hotel we stayed in recommend this restaurant and many work colleagues and friends had heard a lot about it so I we were really looking for to the night - The menu is small because everything is sourced with 12 miles of the restaurant but there is great choice of meat and fish - we shared a taster starter...
