Well Impressed

Was looking forward to eating here with a while and I was not disappointed. Had the black pudding to start which was delicious (pudding could have been a bit spicier/saltier) and looked beautiful. Had the steak for mains and can safely say one of the best I've ever had. Fabulously cooked and the... read more

Went here for dinner with my partner and 2 friends who are locals. I was honestly not very excited to go here based on the look at the menu I had but I was wrong. The food was absolutely great and the service just as good. I hardly ever eat 3 courses as it is usually too much but this... More

My husband and I went to Sage for his 40th birthday at the end of March as we were staying in the area. I am delighted we went there before it gets its first Michelin star...because it will! The food was absolutely delicious, delicate and well prepared. The 12 miles menu with all products coming from the local areas is... More

Brilliant restaurant, food excellent all local produce. Staff very attentive, great atmosphere food served by the staff at a lovely pace and not intrusive. House wine great value and not the usual rip off wine prices. Will be back

Went here for dinner with friends and the overall experience was disappointing. I got the vegetarian option which was a ravioli, it was a small portion and was pretty tasteless. The dessert was fab but for two courses (one of which was a veg) at 33 euro it was overpriced. I won't be rushing back.

Wanted to eat here for a while, finally got around to eating here and it was definitely worth the wait. Simply put the food was superb, every plate that came out looked picture perfect and all consistent as each other. Food packed a punch and full of flavour. Will be back for many, many more meals in the future. One... More

Really enjoyed a meal out with friends here. We chose the restaurant as it came highly recommended both in Midleton & in Cork itself. The food is delicious, varied & with original food combinations. Lovely wine selection too. Staff was lovely & spent time going through their menu which has all produce sourced within a 12 mile radius. There was... More

We went here tonight and had high expectations as heard many great things. Our reservation was for 7:45pm and we were told that we would need to wait a little while for our table. We had a couple of drinks and was seated within 10 minutes. For starter I had organic salmon and for my main I had the the... More
