Great food served up by friendly staff in an exceptional atmosphere. I had steak risotto for my main course and it could not be faulted. I will certainly be going back to this gem of a restaurant !

We booked just before the Christmas rush as two couples. We ate a starter, main course and wine. the starters, of chicken salad, mussels, bruchetta, and mozzarella. Big dishes except for the mussels which were perfect,. Main course of a mix of pasta dishes and the wine was recommended by the most helpful and friendly waitress. I think herself and... More

I don't like here. I've been twice. I gave it a second chance and still didnt like it. The last time I had pizza and it wasn't nice. My mother has been a few times and always feels sick afterwards so we won't be returning again. The decor and atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice though.

First time here. A little difficult to find but well worth the effort. Staff are so friendly. Menu is fabulous and excellent kids choices

We ate here on Valentine's. Food and service excellent - just the right amount of time between courses. Enjoyed being able to relax, talk and enjoy our meal without a time by which to be finished which some restaurants ensure - especially on busy dates such as Valentine's! Pizzas and Pasta dishes are excellent

Portions are good, food was tasty, pizza was pretty delicious. None of our party had any complaints, it's a nice friendly place and the pub next door had live music 2 minutes walk away after our meal - just the job!

Nice quiet location, friendly staff, food is very good but is expensive at night compared to other Italian resteraunts close by, but the lunch menu during the day is good value and food is of the standard of night time! Would recommend for a lunch visit!!

Avoid. Went there with a group for a special dinner. The service was horrendous. The food was good but you would be lucky to get exactly what you ordered. The owner was rude and unwelcoming despite taking the booking. She spent most of the night throwing dirty looks at our table. She also served the incorrect wine and was rude... More

I'm a local and I can't understand how Uncle Brando's is more popular. The food is absolutely outstanding and the price is reasonable enough. I've lived in a number of countries and this is definitely the nicest Italian I've been at.

called in last night for a simple dinner for two lasagna with salad, really thick cheese sauce, with loads of cheese but so little mince. lovely waitress, asked her to ask chef or owner/ manager to take a look but no joy Felt they could not care, no apologies, left without eating, very disappointing.
