We had an excellent meal here. All the staff members we encountered were genuinely very friendly and the service was great. Food amazing and plentiful. Looking forward to returning

This is good place for indian food, really tasty. However, my one gripe with this place is that they have 3 'sittings'...and can never ever give me the time Im looking for. If I ask for a table for 4 for 8pm they will say, sorry, we only have one at 6 or 9.30 pm....This has happened each and every... More

My family dined in kajjal last night, excellent meal & service, staff couldn't do enough for our party. The meal is one of the best we ever had. Will definitely be back.

We dedided to go for lunch at Kajjal just to stay away from the crowds. They had a special lunch set menu for €12. I went with the Lamb and Spinach in a Rogan Josh sauce. It was superb and the portion was very filling. The staff were very attentive and friendly as well. This was not the first time... More

We had dinner at Kajjal with friends last week. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and the service was perfect. For starters the Chilli scallops, with ginger and garlic chilli sauce, were cooked to perfection (and not overcooked as is so often the case). The squid with mango chutney was also a very good starter. For our mains, the... More

I dined here a few weeks ago as part of a large group. We were a hen party and whilst some nice restaurants can be a bit sniffy about that, the staff here were super and really entered into the fun. They looked after us very well and were attentive to wine glasses and more importantly in distributing tap water... More

The food in this restaurant is very good. However, you feel lucky to be given a table and when booking you are told how long you CAN have the table for. I am afraid that this establishment is slightly too arrogant for my liking. The food in the same village in a restaurant called Jaipur offers food that is certainly as good, the only... More

Sunday lunch is still good in Kajjal but there is a drop in quality and it is not as busy as it has been but thankfully they have got rid of the live music which was embarrassingly bad. Chilii chicken and lamb chops for starter were ok as we're the mains but you do expect more from Kajjal. We stayed... More

I visited Kajjal yesterday evening with my wife (9 months pregnant) and son (4.5 years old). We had been looking forward to a visit for some time; we’ve enjoyed a number of visits to sister restaurants Kinara (Clontarf) and Kinara Kitchen (Ranelagh) but hadn’t been here before. As we had our son in tow, we arrived at 6pm without a... More

Hello, Many thanks for taking the time to write about your experience at Kajjal the other day. Firstly sorry for the manner and tone in which the Manager requested you to vacate the table at the time agreed by your wife. It is most certainly never our intention to "insult" a paying guest. Kajjal has been serving customers for almost... More
