This is the premier venue for Indian/Pakistani cuisine in Malahide. Family friendly with an extensive menu.

4 of us were Staying in Portmarnock Links last Friday (4/4/2014) and had booked Kajjal many weeks beforehand. True to form their food was exceptional, as was their service. We really could not fault either (price was good as well). However they topped our evening off by calling us after we left informing us that when we paid our bill... More

This is a very nice venue for getting together with family or friends and the food is terrific. The atmosphere on Sunday afternoons with the soft background live music is very enjoyable. Service is friendly and the staff wish to enhance your experience. Reasonable on the pocket too!

Sunday lunchtime 9 March. Gorgeous food, fresh flavours, not too oily, vegetable dishes highly recommended. Live music in background added to great relaxed atmosphere ( female vocalist plus companion) Will return! It is possible to enjoy a truly tasty meal here without breaking the bank. Increasingly rare in Dublin and it's environs! Other diners: priest on his own, knocking back... More

we have been to that serves authentic Pakistani / Eastern food. The staff were extremely friendly, we weren't rushed to finish out meal. Would definitely recommend making a reservation as it is so popular it's booked out almost every night.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants serving this type of food. It even converted the girlfriend who doesn't like spicy food. Book in advance though. Its almost impossible to be a walk in 7 nights a week!

Service is rushed on a Saturday night and the servers are a little brisk. Also I requested the bill as dinner was my treat but the bill was presented to my father - poor for a high end restaurant. Kajjal isn't as good as it used to be. Won't be rushing back.

Fantastic meal! The menu is so vast I couldn't decide on my main course, the head waiter was so nice and friendly that he offered to pick my main for me. Since I didn't know what I wanted I put my trust in him and what arrived was amazing, all I said was I wanted lamb, and it was class.... More
