Great spot for a drink!

A lovely bar with lots of nooks and crannies, full of character and well worth a visit. Attracts a nice mixed crowd and there's a very pleasant atmosphere. Does a very decent line in bar food too - the soup and sandwich combo at lunchtime for five Euros is hard to beat!

Great spot for a drink and proper "pub grub". The scampi is delicious here and definitely should be tried. I really enjoy coming here.

Even though the signs outside tout the daily chefs special and a glass of wine for €13, there is no such deal on Sunday. But the signs were still out, also advertising an early bird menu that doesn't exist on Sunday either. Daily chefs specials are again advertised inside on the menu, an easy (except Sunday) is required. That said... More

What a pub, have been here many times and always busy, weekdays and weekends. We have been here during the week and they have had live traditional music playing in one of the rooms of the main bar, fantastic.

We didn't eat at Gibley's, we just shared a pint.....or two, but had so much fun! The Cheltenham Races were on and the locals were kind enough to clue us in- even told us where to place a bet! Very exciting to be included!

Fun! Cold beer! Good service! Not, just 20 something's, like the temple bar area. Great atmosphere with a steady crowd of locals, with the gift for gab.

The food is pretty good, the choice of beers and spirits is great but the pub needs a little facelift. It's a bit dark and tired looking. We still consider it a must to go to but there are many great choices for drinking and dining. Their spirits store seems to have less choice as it did 2 years ago.

A fabulous seaside village that has a great community pub here. The food portions were huge and very good value- the all day grill aka cooked breakfast is well worth attempting. Washed down with their own stout. Nice fire near the main door but the wifi needs a boost outside the main pub area. It gets busy from 1.30pm so... More

Well if you need a drink, alcoholic or not, and want to watch some sport, then Gibney's has to be the place in Malahide. At least 18 screens showing all live Sport Wonderful place to stop by
