We decided to stop-off at Malahide en route from Belfast to Dublin and we glad we did. This is a very traditional Irish Pub where we couldn't resist the lunch deal of soup and a sambo for only 5 Euro!

Traditional music by the fire, where better than Gibneys old pub, Malahide on a freezing Sunday morning, having whipped up an appetite walking from the beach to the castle. Breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, take your fancy, all served to order

Only had a drink but looked at the menu which was tempting! Didn't have time to eat but would recommend. Helpful and friendly staff in the pub.

Visited here with 2 friends and we arrived quite late on a Sunday night, so the pub was reasonably quite. There was a good band on in the back room and lots of sport on, we easily passed 3 hours in here. Would definitely visit again

Warm and welcoming this pub is what guests look for in a relaxing spot for a good meal at reasonable prices. The fish and chips was light and tasty. The selection of beer ample ans the scones and clotted cream divine. Although you have to order at the bar servers bring the food to the table. The pub is walking distance... More

If in Malahide, pop into Gibneys. Great pub with buzzing atmosphere serving drinks and food. Lunch time offers soup and sandwich for 5 euros! Delicious. We (a family of five, children aged 6, 4 & 10 months) ate lunch here and then came back for dinner. Great value, tasty food, great drinks! Typical Irish bar, a happening place.

A visit to Malahide is not complete without a trip to Gibneys... For over 20 years one of the best bars I've been too and a definite whenever I'm in Dublin

We had lunch on a Monday. It was not very crowded. We have taken a fish & chips, a grilled chicken wrap and a delicious soup of the day. Simple but really good and fresh ! It is a good value for the money. Unfortunately the drinks remain expensive especially for beer and wine glasses. (From 6 euros).

Gibneys is a real pub with all that has to offer but it also does food which is not that well know and should be as their breakfasts are huge and delicious so suggest you visit when next I nMalahide.
