We visited this bar on a Saturday afternoon, the bar wasn't very busy and we were in for lunch and drinks. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged, we then thought we would sit at a table in the hope that someone would offer us service, however this did not happen, so after another 10... It had a great atmosphere ! Loved how you could go upstairs under the stars or sit inside the pub and chat!

Stopped for dinner on the way back to our B&B. Large seating area on both sides of the bar. Food was very good, I had my 5th seafood chowder of our trip. Each one was different, but they were all delicious. Joe's hamburger was also good. Enjoyed the interior of the pub and people watching. Good service for a very... More

Our BnB hosts recommended for dinner. Varied menu, not overpriced. Not particularly quaint, but very pleasant and kid friendly.

Visited this pub one evening and were impressed with the quality of the food and the general surroundings. Bit more modern interior than the outside would suggest but still a great evening with a fantastic meal.

Recently popped into Duffys for lunch and they had a sirloin steak and all the trimmings for €10.My wife and i ordered it not really expecting to much for €10. It arrived to a huge surprise on both our faces, wow. A steak you would pay upto €40+ in any good restaurant all here in Duffys for €10. Would recommend... More

Went here following recommendation from the landlady at our B and B. It were great, we initially thought it was a bit like an Irish wether spoons but was friendly. Food fab I had belly pork and the husband roast hake. It came with additional veg and chips. Both divine and halfway through the meal some Irish music started up.... More

Came out of the railway station and turned left into the village. First pub was Duffy's. In need of a cold beer we both went in. The plan was a couple of beers then a walk round to the marina. The atmosphere was so good, the pub was packed, the locals so friendly, we ended up staying the whole afternoon!

This is basically a Weatherspoon's in Malaheid. We ended up eating here because it had good reviews and was the only place still serving food at 9pm; however we wish we hadn't. The drinks are good & prices standard - cocktails are €8 & Heinaken €5.50 - but find somewhere else to eat.

Easily the best pub in malahide. Food is good usually but folks keep the steak deal for a tenner all the time , not just certain days. Place is very well run and the decor and bar upstairs very nice. Staff are on the whole very good and the waitress with the long dark pony tail very nice and a... More
