It was my wife's birthday and the whole family went for the first of two birthday meals to Duffys. We had young children with us and they were treated brilliantly as were we all. The food was excellent as was the customer service. Prompt and friendly. We had booked a table in advance and all was as requested. They ever... More

I had a late lunch here, and the food was tremendous. It was half roast beef and half lamb, with potatoes, veggies, etc. The serving was enormous. The Guinness was good (of course, it's Ireland!). Sat at the bar while the rugby game was airing, so the place was pretty lively. The bartender was efficient and friendly, and the price... More

We went down to have a pint with some male friends and lo and behold there was some traditional musicians playing there too. Brendan Gleason and Stephen Rea famous Irish Actors stepped into to play some instruments as well. The music is not structured just like a Ceile where everyone chips in as they arrive . The pints were well... More

Popped in for an early evening pub meal and a pint. Place was busy and there was a nice atmosphere. We went simple; two fish and chips, and sat back with our beers to await the food. Now, fish and chips is a simple meal and should be reasonably easy to get right; not so! What arrived looked very nice... More

We were very disappointed to read that you were dissatisfied with your meal on your recent visit to Duffy's. Your comment has been passed on to the Chefs for their attention and it will be discussed at our next meeting. Whether we were busy or not, the food should be perfectly cooked and presented to the customer. We are sorry... More

Can't begin to count the amount of times I've been here. Always drink upstairs the bar man mark is a great guy and the outside smoking area is such a nice place to drink even if you don't smoke and there are always seats. Fair price for food drinks. Never any trouble or rough people coming in

I had not visited Duffy's in over ten years. It has changed completely and is very modern and the staff are very friendly. They had a good selection of food and I must say the dishes I saw looked great and I'm sure they tasted good too. I just had soup and a sandwich as I was in a hurry... More
