I am in shock that the standards here have dropped so low. I've been here about five times before my most recent visit and have always enjoyed the food and service. I went last Sunday with my parents for my Dad's birthday. The menu has changed since the last time and the choice is nowhere near as good. The food... More

Had the three course tasting menu and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, freshness, preparation and presentation of the food. We were not left waiting very long between courses by very attentive, quick and freindly staff who were rushed off thier feet in a crowded busy restaurant. Despite this nothing was too much trouble for them. Also pleasantly surprised... More

We recently went with family and loved the experience. The gluten free options were great. We had a quite a different array of starters and all five of us were delighted, chicken wings, mussels, beetroot and goats cheese salad all great. We had mushroom soup, Crab Claws, again great but the best was the lovely fish and chps (sole in batter... More

We visited here on a busy Saturday night as it was my birthday and as you can see from my reviews this is one of my fav places to eat. Once again the food was amazing we decided to be brave and select very random dishes from the menu. The food is amazing, the flavours are so nice you will... More

We booked a few hours ahead and got a lovely table for 2 on Sunday night. At 37 weeks pregnant the menu is just perfect. Delicious, inventive dishes that satisfied without making me feel overwhelmed. The salmon in Cajun spice done 3 ways was so,so good as was the beetroot with feta, duck rolls and pork belly. 6 savoury plates,... More

Really like the concept of having small amounts/courses of lots of different things. Though I think the portions have grown bigger in recent times! Love their fish and chips! Service friendly and efficient. Can be a bit cramped and noisy when they are full.

We have been here a few times and sometimes it's lovely and the food is delicious but it's not consistent and can be a little disappointing. When is busy it can be very claustrophobic as the tables are very very close together. However there have been more good experiences than not and have not had a bad evening here. Reasonably... More

Visited this restaurant with high expectations based on past reviews. To be honest, the whole thing is a bit of a let down. The restaurant is small and cramped, service was only ok and the menu overly complicated. The concept, although different is not that good, depending on what you order you could be stuffed or starving after your 3... More

Really quaint place, felt like we were abroad. Can get a bit noisy when full, but worth it for the food
