WOW - Exceeded all of my expectations

Visited in the week early just on spec. This is a quirky small restaurant, with great views. This was a business trip so we had a customer with us. The place was fairly full and JANICE greeted us a table of 3 and made us welcome and the food a service was fantastic. We all left with high praise... read more

food was only average. nice menu, weird system of large tapas and you have to order 3 mains.Service was lacking, very young and to busy being cool to look after customers. Tiny dining room with far too many tables packed into it. Wont be going back..

Myself my wife and 1 year old received a lovely welcome, initially the only table in the restaurant. Crab claws over cooked, both stakes over cooked and potato accompaniments were lumpy. When we commented at the end (we weren't asked once during the meal how the food was) i was told that although we ordered our stakes medium well they... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by another family with children. We visited with our two young girls. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is probably more suited for adults but there is a children's menu. The food is from a variety of taster menus. You pick three starter sized dishes meaning you get a good variety of... This is a neat "Tapas" small plate kind of place. The food is mad of good quality ingredients. Surf & Turf, Lemongrass and Chili Mussels, fish cakes, nice soups. Order at least 3 small plates four if you are really hungry. The service is very friendly and the Chef and kitchen create some amazing food with nice spice combinations. You... More

just drove to Malahide to find a restaurant, and the menu looked good here so we gave it a go. Lucky to get a table, as there were only a couple spare. Food selection was good, and Tapas style suited the menu. Portions were good enough, and the quality was excellent. Had to wait a little while between courses, but... More

The selection of food that is on offer in the Greedy Goose is broad and makes it difficult when trying to choose what to order. If you are lucky enough to sit by the window, there is an amazing view of the marina. However the service really lets the venue down. The waitresses were very unhelpful and service was very... More

I liked the food as much as the view and the service. Make sure to make a reservation or if you walk in then be there very early! They have fantastic menus with very nice food, it is certainly a food experience! We will definitely go back to try more!

First visit and it definitely won't be the last. The menu gives you the option of a taster menu instead of one large main meal. We opted for the 3 course €25 meal. We weren't disappointed from fishcakes, Asian baby back ribs, soup, surf and turf chicken and mini steak sliders everything was delicious.

I enjoyed the mini dishes concept. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was served quickly. The setting was nice.
