We had to overnight at Dublin Airport prior to a trip to Lanzarote and decided that, rather than go into the city for dinner, we would sample the offerings in Malahide. We chose Bon Appetit from TripAdvisor and were a bit concerned about some of the comments we read. Our concerns were totally unjustified. We enjoyed a great evening with... More

We went to this restaurant as part of a deal with the Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin. We had no idea where the restaurant was or how far from the hotel. It is situated near the seaside in what was once a terrace house. Easy to miss if you weren't looking for it or knew about it. We had the... More

I took my wonderful girlfriend for what was going to a great dining experience, which it ended up not being such. Firstly the staff were plentiful, but getting any service wasn't as easy it would be with the amount of the staff, lack of knowledge of the food they were serving, I ordered hake for my main which was very... Gave this Michelin star a go. A taster menu with friends. Atmosphere a little stuffy - however nice restaurant area. Food was very mediocre- a set of tasters which was tasteless - and menu/ingredients that suggest a focus in profits and less on repeat business. I would give this a miss. Dublin has lots of great restaurants - Bon Appetit... More

Firstly I just want to say that the food was really good and if it was based on the food alone I'd definitely go back. But the end of our meal was ruined by rude service so I wouldn't be tempted to return. We had booked a table for 6.30pm and when booking we were told that the table would... More

Id like to clarify for people hoping to eat at a Michelin star restaurant for a lunch menu that this place doesn't really have that Michelin feel. they seem to have re-branded the restaurant and its just a basic bistro with really good food and polite staff. the food was great (butternut squah risotto, chicken, salmon parpardelle), the staff were... Based on the TripAdvisor's review we booked a table online. The process was really easy and customer friendly. The menu offered a good choice. The food was very good and well presented and the price was good. we spend about 80€ for 2 people (Starter, Main course and Dessert) without alcohol. The staff was very friendly and always willing to... More

The menu is interesting and good, the service is impeccable. I had a late lunch at Bon Appetit on a Sunday and so enjoyed the service and food. My second visit to Bon Appetit in 4 months was via their dinner offer, which was based on a smaller menu than the a la carte. However there were good choices for starters and main courses.
