An excellent place for a pub lunch, the mackerel was obviously freshly caught and it is very rare you see it on a restaurant menu.

It was my second time there. I've been to this place a few years ago and the food was delicious back then. Same could be said about my last visit. I had a rib-eyed steak and my companion had the aussie chicken. Both dishes were exceptionally (though the steak wasn't a prime cut) tasty and having been sitting at the... More

Arrived at 7.30pm (booking not necessary), read that it had won numerous awards for bar food. You could sit anywhere as most tables already had knifes and forks in napkins. Menu was not to long (about 8 mains to choose from). We got Lamb Shank and Chicken Fajitas, both excellent, got a dessert which was hot choc cake with ice... More

My wife and were in Bundoran for a day's fishing and happened by chance to call at Maddens for our evening meal. I cannot comment on the the other dishes but the prawns with crabs claws were the best we have ever experienced - what a sauce! Staff were very pleasant, efficient and made us very welcome. Definitely recommend Maddens... More

We ate here on a Monday afternoon and really enjoyed our meals. We had fish and chips and beef casserole. Service was quick, although it was fairly quiet and both dishes were very tasty. Cost was around €23 for the 2 mains.

It was drowned in a sauce that tasted like the pepper sauce you can buy in a package. Of course I can't prove it, but I'm almost... More
