Great night

found Maddens on a wet november evening. Really loved it, great place and the food was really good. the only thing i woudl like to suggest, it that when they are updating their menu to add some GF or CF signs to thier menu. As a coelic it just make it so much easier, rather than having the... read more

Been here many a time for food and drinks...its a grand little boozer...food is quite good...decent pub grub. The place is usually flat out, so getting a table is a mission. Staff are busy so dont expect any pleasantries. The seafood chowder is recommended and they do good stout.

Have been here before and had mixed experiences. Tried it yesterday as we were in the mood for a nice Sunday Lunch. What a mistake! The soup was chicken and mushroom and tasted ok. The mains of beef and Turkey was quite frankly bland, and disgusting. Not what I expect from a roadside cafe let alone a gastro pub. Won't... More

We tried to order food here just after 7pm on a Tuesday evening and were told that the kitchen was closed. There was food being served to a table as the first three people in our group arrived. We asked if they could suggest somewhere else nearby and were directed to another establishment that was closed entirely. Maybe we just... More

We were in Donegal for the weekend and headed into bundoran for something to eat , taxi driver recommended we eat here and even rang ahead to see if they could take us , they were booked out but agreed to take us. Food was beautiful, staff friendly and great entertainment. Great wee bar :-)

This great restaurant is located right beside Bundoran's lovely beach! The atmosphere is great and there's always a great buzz in the air... Oh and yeah the food is also fantastic. I always like to indulge in a classic, therefore I would recommend the roast beef dinner, sublime!

This pub seems like a pleasant enough place to go for a drink and if I lived in Bundoran I would be certain to pay it a visit on a night out. However, the food on the night I was there was frankly inedible. Myself and my sister ordered two starter,s crab claws and chickent wings. I am not a... More

Lovely bar with good music and good atmosphere. However we will not return to this bar again as the bar man made you feel like it was a bother for him to serve you. He did not speak to me and just threw my change back on the bar. The drinks were also dearer than any other bar in Bundoran.

I ate here for dinner while I was in Bundoran for the weekend. The food was very nice and the portions were huge, I got the fish and chips and it came with two very big bits of fish and a very big bowl of chips. Other for the bangers and mash and it came with 5 sausages! I visited... More

Last summer we have enjoyed several times dinner at the Maddens Bridge Bar Restaurant. If you are looking for a typical Irish pub in Bundoran, this is really the right choice. Whatever dish we picked from the menu, it was delicious and the portions were large. In the evening we would also appreciate live Irish music in a very relaxed... More
