Afternoon tea

Belleek castle is simply beautiful, I visited it with my mother for afternoon tea and everything was perfect. I must say the staff were so helpful, I can't say enough about them, the employer should be proud to have such people help run this special establishment. If you're going to ballina and... read more

The experience we had in this castle and at this restaurant was truly fairy-tale like. We lived and dined like kings and queens, we were greeted with great service and an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere. The service was attentive and polite and the food delightful. We were able to eat both dinner and breakfast and had fantastic and amazing food... More

Poped in whilst in Ballina on business and finished early. Place was quiet but was greeted by Daniel and from then on experienced attentive but not in your face service from all the staff. The early evening fixed menu was excellent with all the dishes beautifully presented and flavorsome. You can taste the passion in the food. I hand the... More

This was our night to splurge! The three course dinner is €30 each plus wine. The meal was excellent! My wife had the duck and I had the slow braised beef. Both were perfect. The meal included a starter and dessert both of which were great. The ambiance is charming and the service attentive. A memorable experience.

The ambiance of the dining room is simply fairy tale like, and very romantic. The qualiyt of the food is outstanding, the plating and the presentation excellent, as is the service. What more can I say? We want to go back as soon as possible!

Set in a beautiful castle, you are greeted with a smile, made feel very comfortable and brought to your table. The staff are extremely friendly, the menu just wonderful. Starters to die for and the signature dish, the drunken bullock just marvellous in both how it is served and how it tastes! A wonderful dining experience will definitely visit again.

Food was lovely, but interaction with staff left the lasting impression of a busy roadside diner. Pieces of cork in the wine and increasing the volume of the music after desert ( which we asked to be returned to normal level twice ) did not help. The quality of food would bring me back but nothong else.

We arrived at 6.20pm for a 6.30pm early bird booking to a muted "Welcome to Belleck" and being told to follow to the bar. Menus were left with us. The bar was packed bar and there were cups and saucers on the other tables so then we weren't sure if we were eating here or what the story was. No-one... More

Lovely food which was so well presented and served by friendly staff. My only criticism would be that I would have liked to be able to have one or two courses rather than three or five.

Had to book which wasnt a problem, and it was expensive however it was worth the money. Fantastic atmosphere, great decor and a highlight of our 2 week trip in Ireland.
