Description: Belleek Castle is set in the heart of Belleek Woods. This is a Two AA Rosette restaurant with plenty of character. The kitchen team lead by local chef Stephen Lenahan uses only the freshest local ingredients available to create wonderful food inspired by the wild County Mayo landscape. This has been reflected in the awarding of the Georgina Campbell, Bord Bia, Just Ask restaurant of the year. The philosophy of the restaurant is use classic and imaginative cooking techniques with local, seasonal ingredients from our land, sea and air, combining a depth of flavour with the traditions of the Castle

Have the steak on a sword on the multiply course dish. Relaxing and friendly ambiance for a nice quiet night out with a loved one.

I went here for a wedding reception and it was the best food I have had. I cant eat gluten so was worried about what I could eat but the Head Chef Stephen prepared me my own gluten free canapes which were delicious. There were 4 courses for the meal, each one was delicious. The starter was rare breed pork... More

If you like a medieval slant or ghostly gothic but luxurious then this is it. Finishings are the real thing as is the whole package set in a beautiful wood beside a river. What more would you want?

Returning back to the UK from Ireland, I am moved to write about my wonderful and numerous dining experiences at Belleek Castle in Ballina. My family live locally and I was taken here as a small child many years ago. The place always made an impression on me - the wonderful setting, the dramatic interiors, the lush dining rooms. When... We had dinner at The Belleek Castle Restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. We were taken into the lounge by the Head Waiter given menus and offered a drink. On his return the Head Waiter seemed to have all the time in the world to take us through the menus. There was a gourmet , a la Carte, vegetarian... More

Took a chance on a friends recommendation. After a lovely drive from Galway through some of the most wonderful scenery you can find on the planet we found ourselves gradually being drawn into the past as we navigated a lovely long tree lined avenue which opens out into rolling grassland around the castle. Very friendly staff whisked our bags away... More

We came here last weekend on the recommendation of a friend, and I was NOT disappointed. We had the eight course gourmet tasting menu, and every dish was fantastic, a real treat. It was a bit of a drive for us to come here but it was definitely worth it. The relaxed atmosphere and the exceptional staff further added to... More

Went here for my daughters birthday. Friendly welcome and very good service. Food was excellent. Two of us had slow cooked beef which was excellent as was the sliced duck breast - highlight was the vegetable stack with the beef. My wife had risotto which was tasty. Good wine list and not too big a mark-up. Had the Rochioli Pinot... More
