Great little Chinese food was amazing and lots of choice and big portions beef was so tender .. Will defo eat here again 😉

The staff were lovely, efficient, checked if our food was ok, the food came quickly and was hot and delicious but we didn't feel at all rushed, would definitely recommend.

We passed it on the way to the Broken Jug pub. thought we would try it out later in the evening. It did not disappoint. we had to wait a while as we did not phone the order ahead. lots of people in the place but we didn't have to wait too long. the food was a delight and great... More

on of the 1st chinese restaurants in Mayo and its pretty much what it says on the Tin no major Suprises good or bad . Kind of place you could go to every week and ever get tired of but not so much for a Big occaison

Having dined in this restaurant on several occasions and also get takeaways very regularly I find it to be of the highest standards I would highly recommend you try their famous dry hot and spicy . But be careful once you try it you will be hooked

The Lantern overall is an amazing place to go for food. The food is delicious. The service is quick and the staff is very friendly. I will certainly be making more visits to this restaurant.. You can't beat the dry,hot and spicy here!!

I was lucky enough to get a table on New Years Eve for 12 people which included family and close friends. The busy restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. Went and paid the restaurant a visit after checking out the TripAdvisor options for the area. Can't say I was disappointed! The food was delicious and the service was great. Even had complimentary prawn crackers, which I haven't eaten since I was a child (ah, the memories...). All in all, if you are hankering for some Asian cuisine, the food... More

Used to eat in here often enough, but had a very bad experience the last time I visited. The manager was extremely rude and didn't seem interested at all. I will not be eating here again and I would not recommend after hearing some quite disturbing hygiene stories about staff and food.
