Having been a huge fan of the menu, the pricing and the portion sizes here, I booked a table for seven adults on Saturday night last. After our meal I realised that another group had a set meanu for the night, when I made the booking, I was not offered one or maybe I should have asked. I think that... More

Popped in here for dinner. Food was lovely, and so was the wine!! Atmosphere very inviting we ordered a second bottle! Little bit out of town so a taxi would be required if your staying in ballina town itself but worth it. 5 minute walk to the famous ice house hotel so if your staying here I would definitely recommend... We were very tired after a long day of sight-seeing, so really appreciated the brightly lit restaurant when we found it. We had good service and food.

Service was very slow! Every time we wanted something from a menu to refills to place our order, we had to ask. They had 2 specials on order for 9.99 and it sounded like a good deal. Well they don't come with any veg! We asked for some and we're charged 3.75 for a side of plain boiled mixed veg... More

This place was fabulous. Can't say enough good things about it. Staff were lovely from the moment we arrived for dinner. We had no reservation (not sure if you can make one). We only had a 20 minute wait for a table in the bar which was busy enough. Food menu is extensive enough so there's something for everyone. I... More

Had dinner with my Mum & husband here over Christmas holidays. Chowder arrived lukewarm and was a little disappointing, its worth doing 100% or not at all. I was surprised with the corn fed chicken on beetroot polenta & mixed beans, tasty and something different from average Irish bar menu's. service was good, friendly & understanding. The chowder was returned... More

Very nice, cosy pub with an excellent menu and superb service. The scallops I had we brilliant and worth going back to just for those alone. Easily one of the best meals I've had in Ballina.

We visited as a group of 10. We had drinks and enjoyed nice time at the bar with drinks. Decor is very nice-old style but nicely done. I had "sex on the beach" cocktails and others were on beers. Lovely atmosphere with a live music-good rock band. Wort visiting.
