We visited as a group of 10. We had drinks and enjoyed nice time at the bar with drinks. Decor is very nice-old style but nicely done. I had "sex on the beach" cocktails and others were on beers. Lovely atmosphere with a live music-good rock band. Wort visiting.

We really enjoyed a superb meal in this cosy , welcoming pub on a wet and dreary night in Ballina. Friendly staff and the nicest fish dinners we both had in a long time. What a find. Wish it was closer to home as we would be regulars !!

Nicely located by the Moy estuary...admittedly nicer to sit outside in the warmer months but wrap up well and hey,ho! no problem... Of course, you can always sit inside! :-) Foods pretty good too and pretty reasonably priced, just dont expect gourmet cuisine...bit of a walk from town and back so if you are not quite up to the walk... Having read that Crocketts was a Michelin listed gastropub, my wife and I detoured to Ballina on our way home from Galway specifically to have lunch here. Never have we been more disappointed with a dining experience. In fact disappointed is an understatement, shocked and angry are more appropriate adjectives. Despite it being peak time at Sunday lunch, we arrived... More

This is our 2nd visit to Ballina and Crockets on the Quay came highly recommended to us. The location and views are breathtaking, there is a great buzz around the area. They had just introduced their new menu, we shared The Chicken Wings as a starter and they were just melt in the mouth flavour, I had the 3 type... More

Ate here one night whilst staying at the Ice House and wanted a change from the restaurant there. It's only two minutes up the road. It must be a lovely spot to sit outside during the warmer weather. As soon as we went in we were greeted and invited to choose a table in the back room - it's quite... More

In the last six months I have been to Crockets 3times. Twice was lovely and the third was dreadful. On my last visit to crockets we waited a long time for our meal which was ok because the atmosphere is always good. However after the long wait my tempera chicken noddles was not edible. The chicken had hardened and couldn't... More

Great place to eat, and they offer a wide choice. Staff are attentive and, if you want it, there is live music in one of the bars.

Was working in Ballina with a French colleague, who wanted to go to a traditional pub. We were staying at the Ice House and this was a just a few minutes walk away. Not the highest rated restaurant in Ballina, but would not hesitate to go back again. staff great and friendly as you would expect, they even tolerated us... More
