Nice location and ambience.

Read some of reviews already posted. Arrived with high expectations to a very popular Saturday night venue. After drinks continued to restaurant. I ordered Venison stew which was a mistake. It was not good and would be better all round if it was excluded from menu. Advised manageress who dealt with... read more

Crockets could not have been better . Was staying in Ice House and did not want to dine there again ( very disappointing ) so Crockets is just a short walk away . Welcoming and great atmosphere . A varied and interesting menu - keenly priced. The service was very attentive . Food arrived promptly and was excellent especially salmon... More

Crockets on the quay is a must visit for any 'foody', as regulars to Ballina we never miss an opportunity to pop in. Set on the quay or harbour area of the river moy lies this beautiful pub and restaurant. Always a great pint at the bar, nice music and a friendly face. We were seated without a reservation and... A great place! Great food! the flavours are just divine. A few years back they had a chocolate milkshake dessert that was absolutely delicious and miss it till this day. The staff are wonderful and the whole ambience of the place is great. If you are ever in Ballina that is a place to visit!

The chicken was so hard we could not eat it the noodles were tasteless. We left it all and complained to the waitress, she Said sorry... More

Being a bit jet lagged on our first night, our B&B owner suggested Crockett's and we're glad she did. We try seafood chowder when it's offered on a menu in Ireland, and this is one of the best. Between the chowder, the wonderful brown bread and splitting a caesar salad, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start... More

Having been a huge fan of the menu, the pricing and the portion sizes here, I booked a table for seven adults on Saturday night last. After our meal I realised that another group had a set meanu for the night, when I made the booking, I was not offered one or maybe I should have asked. I think that... More

Popped in here for dinner. Food was lovely, and so was the wine!! Atmosphere very inviting we ordered a second bottle! Little bit out of town so a taxi would be required if your staying in ballina town itself but worth it. 5 minute walk to the famous ice house hotel so if your staying here I would definitely recommend...
