As It Was - Still Is

After poking our heads into a few pubs up and down the street, this one felt right. Nothing fancy but good home made food in a cozy, friendly atmosphere by the wharf. The fish and chips and thick, creamy fish chowder were so good we ordered another bowl. It was full of big chunks of fish and other... read more

Me and my friend stayed in this b&b for a night. We were very pleased to find a good atmosphere and a great staff! We felt like home... room cleaned and warm but the mattress was very uncomfortable. Excellent breakfast with fresh products cooked at the moment.

We liked the look of the menu so went in to try it out. We were met by friendly staff who told us pick a seat and theyd bring us a menu. We went for garlic bread and a sweet potato and chilli soup. The garlic bread was nice but the soup was excellent. Mains were breaded chicken with potato/veg... More

We booked into Murphy's Pub & bed % breakfast Dingle, to ring in the new year. We were welcomed from the time we arrived until we left four days later. It is warm, (although cool outside). The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The pub had a pot belly stove to warm up the atmosphere and the food is top... More

We had a lovely late lunch at this pub. It was the best seafood chowder we had during the entire trip. It was chocked full of fish, clams, mussels, scallops and more. Very nice atmosphere and food and beer plentiful. Oh and the salmon was wonderful as well. What more can you ask for?!?!

Still the best in Dingle for food, Guinness and great friendly staff. Having visited many years ago, we decided to pay a visit for evening drinks and food and we were not disappointed. An immediate warm welcome from the friendly staff ( hugely important for any visitor) and then shown to a table close to a blazing fire. The food... More

As we arrived down to Dingle late this evening, we decided to only head into the village for a pint and a glass of Guinness. However, as Murphy's was such a vibrant business with plenty of satisfied looking customers and delicious looking food, we decided to have a bite to eat also. Everything was superb-the Guinness, the meal and especially... More
