Good food and traditional setting in Dingle

Murphy's is a decent, slightly old fashioned pub, near the harbour in Dingle. Might be crowded in the summer but fine the rest of the year. Good, wholesome food and a welcome fire on cold, wet days.

Make it more than a one night stay at Murphy's in Dingle. Enjoy and get to know the welcoming hospitality of hosts and all the staff. Get into the nightly music big time. Accommodation is excellent - lets not get into how good those big breakfasts are. We are so going back next year!! The twelve big Aussies had the... More

I went to many pubs while in Ireland and this one didn't disappoint, the atmosphere was great and the pints flow quite nicely :)

We visited the pub twice while exploring Dingle Pennisula. Very nice place, great service and fantastic food. Moreover, they have local beer and cider. Highly recommended.

After a fine Saturday evening dinner, early October, my g.f and I wandered into town thinking we'd just stretch the legs and go home. I was eager for a pint but she was tired. We followed the aural "scent" of music to Murphy's and went on in to find standing room only crowd thoroughly enjoying TINTEAN, a band rocking the... More

We enjoyed Murphy's so much we had dinner there two night while in Dingle. On the second night the place was packed watching the rugby semifinal and there were no tables available. As we were about to leave a couple was sitting at a large table and asked if we needed seats, my wife said yes and the guy said... More

This place will definitely deliver the real Irish pub experience. it has a front room with large sitting ares, for large groups and a back room, with a wonderful stove warming the room. A reasonably priced menu of comfort food. Really good soups. Make it a lunch stop and then stroll the streets , one of my favourite stop in... More

Try the roast beef - just like Mum makes. Huge slices of nice tender roast beef served with tasty gravy, sweet potato mash and veges. A good size meal all for €10. Great value.

What a great end to a perfect hike! This bar/restaurant is clean, always busy, and the friendliest staff! The food is beyond wonderful. You have to try the "roast of the day" special! It is such a deal for the price....a plate overflowing with 4 thick slices of pork(one of the choices that day), stuffing, baked sliced apples, whipped potatoes,... More

This was a very welcoming place, with friendly staff. The back has a wonderful wood burning stove, keeping it toasty, which in Dingle when the wind is up, great!! Have the stew ti is to die for, and the Guinness of course. Fairly priced considering the stature of Dingle as an American tourist haunt
