a busy weekend evening, without reservations. We had a pint at the bar while waiting for a table. The season is getting cranked up!

The service was great and the menu was perfect for lunch. This is on the main street so it's easy to find and a nice selection of beers on tap.

We stopped in on the advice of our B&B host- who we saw there later that night with his wife! The food was excellent! We had the shrimp pasta. Our waitress was great and funny. Her recommendation for the Sticky Toffee Pudding was spot on, we asked if we could share it, and she replied

Murphy’s Pub and Guesthouse is one of many such establishments in Dingle. I suppose what distinguishes this pub from the other similar establishments on the “strip” is the bright red frontage, the fact that is the first pub in that row and on a corner which faces you directly as you enter the town. We randomly wandered in for lunch and had a great meal. The seafood chowder was the best we tried in our Ireland trip! The fish and chips is pretty bland, but the tartar sauce makes it good. Nice simple pub.
