We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Roland the waiter offered great service. The food was delicious...I had a crab and avocado salad and my wife had the blue cheese salad. Both delicious. And chased them with a find wine. Relaxing ambience. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner!

Nice presentation and comfortable atmosphere. Server was mediocre. Looked at my husband like he had 2 heads when we asked for more bread.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Dingle. We've tried a few on the top of the list and NONE compare to this! The food, service, attitude, presentation, menu, wine list... Unbelievable !! It's wonderful! We asked 10 locals "where would you eat tonight if we were buying you dinner?" Almost every single one picked this place!! What does... More

We had a wonderful meal here in Dingle. The fish was done to perfection and the service was excellent. What else is there to say? Loved it!

I had as nice a Caesar Salad as you can get but I was still disappointed - only because my wife's Crab and Avocado Salad was really special. Great presentation, excellent crab meat and not at all fussy. Mains were superb - my wife's Black Sole was almost too large(!!) but who's complaining? The piece de resistance was my Grilled... More

There are a lot of great restaurants on this street, but the Half Door is set apart in so many ways. The food is awesome. Roland, our waiter was helpful and friendly. We had the seafood chowder (highly recommended), chilled melon platter ( refreshing and delicious), roast Irish duck confit orange sauce (need I say more) and sauté fish cakes... More

Surprised to read this restaurant is rated only14th in Dingle. Had an exceptional meal with superb service. My husband had the filet steak & I had the grilled seafood special which consisted of a 1/2 lobster tail & claw, 2 breaded oysters (divine), prawns, scallops, mussels & crab claws. The best dish I have eaten in s long time. The... More

This is the place. It is really. We called in for a light lunch, and, after looking at the tempting offerings on the menu settled for chowder. It is delicious and we would say the best in Dingle. How do we know? On holiday last year and just for fun, we set ourselves a task to have chowder for lunch... More
