Gluten Free Fish and Chips!!!

I loved this place! The only restaurant in Dingle that I could find gluten free fish and chips at, and it was delicious! I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

Four of us, on a circular tour from Dublin, south and west and back to Dublin. for lunch, I chose seafood chowder every chance I could. The spot had the best of the six places I dined. (however, all were good to very good). The chowder at the Boatyard is a bit less creamy, closer to a broth/cream texture, with... More

The views were nice, the glassed-in room was cozy and warm on a cold and windy evening. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't outstanding in any way. I sent back the scallop special--something I never do. There was nothing wrong with it, but I thought 22 euros for five small scallops on a teaspoon of puree was outlandish. They... More

I stopped in here my first day in town and indulged in a delicious and hearty seafood chowder followed by pan seared sea bass. Dessert was Eton Mess - raspberries, meringue and cream. Yummy!

The winds were mighty strong at the pier and the sun wasn't coming out ! So, we walked into the next thing we saw, the boatyard restaurant and bar for lunch ! We ordered a fisherman's pie, a fish cake for two adults and a garlic mash for the toddler. The food was delicious , the service was good and... More

Had the fish and chips. They were very good. Considering the place was packed they did a good job getting everyones food and drinks to them in a timely manner.

I have eaten here three times and each experience was lovely. In fact, we ate here two nights in a row because the staff, the food, and the dinning experience was wonderful. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and hot. The food was priced below what others in town charge for a similar dish. Don't overlook this place, you'll... More

We just had dinner at the Boatyard for the second time during a two-night stay. We can't figure out why it isn't ranked first in Dingle. There are lots of lovely restaurants in town, but this is the best seafood and atmosphere by far. Night One: We were intrigued by the crab sampler recommended by Frank Bruni of the New... More

We had dinner here last week, had the chowder for starter which was amazing and delicious and the lamb shank for main which was out of this world. Great quality food and great portions, the quality of the food exceeds expectations. When we return to Dingle we will definitely be back.
