We had read about this so thought we had to go. Maybe our expectations were too high. The environment was very crowded and noisy. The food choices were good and when served it had great flavor but we had seafood all over Ireland that was of equal taste.

My husband and I stopped as we were walking around the Bay for a spot of lunch. He had the calamari and I had the Locally smoked salmon. It was delicious, and I was surprised by the amount of choice! The price was also very reasonable.

I didn't have long in Dingle , so after some shopping nearby I stopped here for lunch. Unfortunately the cook mixed my order up, but the staff were very apologetic about it. The food when served was very good and the service from the waiting staff was exceptional. Beautiful location for this restaurant... opposite the water.

We'd been to the Boatyard almost 2 years prior and found the food quite wonderful so we chose to have our special St. Valentine's supper there. We were WOWED again. It was their first evening of the season open but we could not have received a more wonderful welcome or a more delicious meal. The Calamari was so tender and... More

Visited this place over Valentine's weekend 2014. Myself, boyfriend, sister, sister's boyfriend. Lovely setting, very nice location. The décor in the 'porch' section to the left of the entrance is very nice, you can really see that they are sticking to their name. We all ordered fish and chips. My sister is a coeliac and they offer a gluten-free version,... More

Visited the boathouse on a weekend trip to Dingle during the summer. This is a delightful restaurant in a great setting just off the pier in Dingle. Had some delicious oysters to start and really fresh hake. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Dingle!

Ate at the Boatyard in August 2013 with a small group. Great meal. Certainly one of the highlights of our week in Dingle

We were recommended to come here for fish and chips, and were not disappointed. The portion was generous and delicious. Service was good, and the conservatory was cosy on a dreary September day. We will eat here again when next in area

When you are in Dingle, you definitely have to go to the Boatyard and have the "Taste of Dingle Bay Crab" - it's the best I've ever eaten. We've been there several times, and it's so worth the 1.5 hour drive from our holiday home. The food is excellent, the stuff friendly and attentive and the atmosphere absolutely wonderful. Can't... Myself and a group of 33 other girls ate in the Boatyard recently as part of my friend's hen party. I must commend all the staff and the chef for a truly fantastic meal, very efficient service (especially with the very large number) and a great night. The staff were so accomodating and obliging. The meal was delicious and fantastic... More
