The Boatyard is my favourite restaurant of all time. I love sitting in the conservatory looking out at the marina. The staff are so friendly and really accommodating. As for the food it's fresh, innovative and as exciting to look at as well as eat. It's impossible to resist their fish cakes but I always have a hard time just... More

Make sure you order the seafood chowder and the crab claws! Fantastic food and an excellent location as well. Great value for money.

We went for dinner and after sitting we had to wait 20 minutes for service. The menus were filthy..it would be very easy to spend 5 minutes wiping them down. The food was not great. The mash was full of pepper which ruined the taste of everything and the fish was overcooked. The chocolate brownie was frozen in the middle.... More

A faultless eating experience. Fish cooked to perfection and great chips. All served by great staff. Our group of 29 were seated and served very quickly. Nice location overlooking Dingle Bay.

This restaurant is in a great setting and could be amazing but it's treatment of the most beautiful and freshest of fish lets it down badly. My wife had Hake which was overcooked and drowned in sauce. I had Monkfish which was to come with chili and ginger. Instead it came smothered in Thai Sweet Chili Sauce straight from the... More

We booked a table for four after walking past a few times. We were greeted perfectly and attended to quickly for drinks and our order. One person needed special requirements (gluten free and fructose intolerant) and their selections to suit were perfect. Two of us shared a seafood platter which was exceptional and the scallops and prawns were magnificent. Great... More

Our touring group of 45 enjoyed some delicious fish & chips. We were seated in our own area inside. The serving size was huge. The fish was wonderful. Service was very good. There was plenty of seating outside and in a conservatory. Lots of views. Nice area to walk off lunch. I can't speak to the value since it was... More

We stopped in here for lunch and sat outside on a beautiful, sunny day. Despite all the tour buses in the parking lot across the street we had a great view of the water. We only had some starters and pints (get the local Crean beer recommended by the bartenders). Before being seated we were told we would have to... More

This restaurant is a converted house that is on the front seaside Road. It has nice seating outside But even if you are not lucky enough to get a table in the garden patio area, they have a nice conservatory kind of seating. Dishes are all prepared with great style and unique presentation. I went for the oysters and crab... More

The restaurant is right on the sea front so it is the perfect place to go straight after seeing Fungi the dolphin. We went here at 6pm on a Thursday and were lucky to have a table for 2 available without waiting. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. A grumpy... More
