On a sunny day there's no place better than the Boatyard. Sitting outside overlooking the harbour whilst eating tasty seafood! My only quibble is that the prices are a bit saucy for the amount of food you're given. 5 crab claws, one piece of bread and a half handful of salad for €12.50!! Now the food is top quality and... The boat yard is a little slice of heaven especially on a sunny day !! We visited for a late lunch in sept we dined outdoors to enjoy the unexpected Indian summer !! I firstly recommend visiting earlier in the day to reserve your outdoor table worth the effort !! We enjoyed an Atlantic seafood platter priced at €39 good... More

We were taken to this restaurant on a CIE Jewels of Ireland tour. They served the coachload of 40 people in quick order -- maybe 10 minutes. Fish & chips is one of our standard things to try at restaurants where ever we go. At home in Maryland, the best for us is at Red Robin. The fish & chips... More

Had a fab lunch here with friends, sunny day, glass of wine and the Atlantic Seafood platter. Absolutely amazing food, everything was gorgeous - from the little cups of chowder to the mussels to the crab claws with garlic butter. Even the chips tasted more amazing than anywhere else. I often want to magic myself to Dingle to have this... More

The food was good here, nicely cooked and presented though a little unadventurous. We had their signature dish the seafood platter. The service was also good but lacking the warm Irish welcome we'd received in so many other places in Ireland. The food probably deserves four stars but the slightly frosty reception and the price brings it down to 3.

This restaurant in Dingle, looking out over the marina, is definitely worth a visit. We had the best calamari I have ever eaten and enjoyed our visit so much we went back the next day as well.

This was one of the most lovely restaurants I have ever eaten at and certainly one of the best in Ireland. The seafood platter was amazing and they have Tom Crean on tap (and glasses wink wink boatyard staff!) I highly recommend visiting The Boatyard while in Dingle, especially if you are interested in trying some great fresh seafood!

Myself and my wife stumbled across the boatyard during our few days in dingle. We were lucky enough to get a table straight away. We ended up ordering the platter for 2 which offers quite a good variety of delicious fish and is good value for money. We were stuffed leaving the restaurant. Only word of warning is that since... We had just come off a the fungi boat trip and we were all starving. This was the first place we came across. We were seated quickly, but they forgot to give us menus & clear the table properly. Service was slow initially, but once ordered good arrived quickly, all our fish dishes were lovely, kids meals cost €6.50 and... More

We ate with our 3 children. The atmosphere was poor. The staff not in the least engaging or warm. Brisk and distant at most. The food was ok. The steak was quite tough. One of the children's sausages were completely over cooked boarding burn. On the other hand the kids burger and chicken gougons were lovely and the calamari was... More
