Good hearty eating!

During our recent visit to Dingle we had lunch here. The staff were welcoming and found us a table promptly. We opted for their chowder which was a meal in itself. To accompany this we also had an open crab and shrimp sandwich - delicious. We would certainly eat here again if we were in the area.

We spent a week in Dingle and ate at the Boat Yard 4 times, which sounds absurd. The food was great value for the quality and had a lot of gluten free options. We had 17 people one day and everyone loved the food. It is a great spot on a sunny day with outdoor seating options.

We wanted local lobster - and fortunately they did have it on the menu, and it was decent, but that didn't begin to make up for the poor service. It was a very busy night, but we did have reservations, and were promptly seated, though the hostess never removed the little "reserved" holder. The waitress came by to take our... More

This is our 2nd year going here and we just love it. Food is just gorgeous... Fresh fish in as many ways as you can think. It's a very busy spot so you do need to book. As busy as they are the staff are pleasant and very attentive... I cannot find fault. It can be a bit pricey but... More

We came here for dinner on a Friday night having booked well in advance via the website. Our waitress was great and we had a lovely table in the conservatory. I went for the taste of dingle dish which is basically crab done a few different ways. It was amazing! So much so my other half who did not order... More

We ate there during a trip to Dingle in August 2015. Our party size grew from an initial five seats booked to ten plus 4 babies/toddlers by the time we arrived. The staff were able to take us all in their stride and the quality of the food was very good. This was our second visit to the restaurant during... More

I recently stopped for lunch when I was in Dingletown based on a recommendation from a local. The restaurant is right near the marina with a view of the water and has beautiful atrium seating that allows you to take in the view. Despite the nice atmosphere, the food I had did not live up to that standard. My fish... More

Would prefer to post a picture. Difficult to put thoughts to words whilst the body is recovering from an onslaught of such good food fresh from the sea. Ah yes. Picture posted!!

My husband and I have lunch in The Boatyard twice during our 1-week trip to Dingle (for our honeymoon). I had prawns tempura and my husband had fish and chips. The food was gorgeous and fishes were really fresh, caught in Dingle. Good atmosphere and great service. Recommended!
