Good quality informal seafood if you like

A nice place to have an informal lunch with a view of the sea. The Fish and Chips were great and the location on the water provided an extra plus. Well worth it for a light inexpensive lunch.

We a brilliant bowl of seafood chowder and brown bread. It was a chilly day so the warm food and service was appreciated.

Service terrible. Food overlooked and way to salty. Went here due to high ratings. Was really bad for me. Waitress forgot our coffee order. Probably best. Found great coffee down the street.

Four of us in a party, all had different choices and we each thought we had individually made the best choice! The service was friendly and the food tasty and delicious.

We stopped at the Chowder Cafe thinking we'd have a bowl of chowder for lunch on a cold day. We ended up with a delicious and imaginative meal...much more than we expected. The crab tart was wonderful with lots of delicious crab. Not just a few crumbs so they could say it had crab. The home smoked salmon and toasted... More

We had breakfast in this lovely place. We ate poached eggs with salmon and was delicious. Have to say is a bit expensive but at Dingle all the places are around those prices. Just enjoy!

Been here twice, which is exactly how often I have been in Dingle. I first visited the Chowder Cafe 2 years ago, and it was great. When we (my boyfriend, my mum and I) came to Dingle again in April this year we had to go back. The food is amazing, especially the sea food chowder. The staff is lovely... More

On the way back to Dublin from the Slea Head, we stopped here to get something for lunch. We ordered seafood chowder (amazing and fresh) and a couple of specials (Fish and Chips with fresh cod, salmon salad and mussels). Everything fresh. Above average coffee (I'm Italian)

Ordered the chowder, it was creamy, fresh and yummy, The staff were very friendly and lovely, Tasteful decoration, dining environment is also good. Try their chowder, very good for a light lunch. If I go to dingle next time, definitely back to them again.

Recommended by another restaurant and we weren't dissappointed. The chowder looked fab but we were eating shortly afterwards so had lighter options, really good and lovely staff. Will be back with an empty stomach
