Tasty lunch stop

We visited this Cafe having read the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. They have a varied menu with a good selection of soup/sandwiches and lots of nice goodies! All of the dishes, particularly the chowder were well received. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant lunch stop all round!

We came in cold and tired and were welcomed by a relaxed, warm, clean ambience and such friendly staff. A friend had a lovely seafood chowder and i had a mackerel main dish, which was one of the tastiest meals I've had in months! The portions were great, the presentation was excellent, and the fish was just sensational! We topped... More

Let no one say that a cafe cannot produce high quality food at reasonable price with friendly and efficient service. My sister decided we should experience a local lunch and liked the look of the cafe, we where so pleased with the salmon salad and delicious soda bread. Rounded off with a pot of steaming tea. Quiet simply a first... More

We were looking for somewhere to escape the rain but didn't want the full pub fare - Chowder offered an awesome option with delicious lighter options which hit the spot!

Food quality is very ordinary. Food standard is 5/10. The eating area is very limited in terms of space . We visited at lunchtime between Christmas and New Year . The location and friendliness of the staff were good but the rest was average at best.

We were in Dingle on a rainy day off-season. The ladies at the Chowder House were extra welcoming. The bread was brought in fresh from the bakery while we were eating and the soup and BLT were superb. Excellent stock for the soup and thick slices of bacon for the BLT.

So glad we ate here. I had plaice with mashed potatoes, my husband had fish and chips. We are both very discerning when it comes to fish but both meals were absolutely delicious. A big part of the reason we would like to revisit Ireland!

The food here is fantastic!!! My husband had the clam chowder and I had a goat cheese, tomato, and avocado open faced sandwich. We also had the brownie for dessert which was as equally wonderful. The staff also made a ham and cheese sandwich for our two boys (ages 4 and 2). It's always nice when places accommodate your children.... More

We shared two sandwiches - both vegetarian and they were delicious. Simple, good service and great food. Ice cream shop across the street too for dessert!
