My husband and I checked out a few reviews on Trip Advisor re restaurants in Dingle. Chowder Cafe lived up to our expectations. My smoked salmon open sandwich with cucumber pickle was out of this world. My hubby had mussels with curry sauce he was a happy camper. Lovely staff , value for money and great food!!

The best chowder ive ever tasted - it seems everyone knows it as its very busy so get there before the lunch time rush - or you can even get it to go - if you have to wait for a table its worth the wait you wont be disappointed.

If you want some great food and some local flare... This is the place. It is cosy but the food is great and we would go back in a second!

We got the recommendation to go to Chowder for lunch by our B&B owner who frequents this restaurant at least once a week... so we trusted his recommendation. We were not disappointed. They have daily specials and a very nice menu. We both got something off the specials board. My husband had a crab sandwich and I had a chicken... More

Wonderful fresh fish of the day - only serve what is caught that day. Very small couple run restaurant, so reservations are a much. A great gourmet meal.

We found the restaurant by accident and are so happy we went inside to eat. Hubby and I both ordered the fish and chips and it was easily the best fish and chips we had eaten in our entire visit to Ireland. The fish was fresh, the chips freshly prepared, the salad crispy and well dressed, and the drinks cold.... More

While the food was good and plentiful and reasonably priced the service was lacking. First the order was wrong and then an item was left off our order but we were still charged for it. As it was close to closing time there were 3 tables occupied and got the impression they just wanted us out and be finished as... More

i visited this cafe/restaurant many times for breakfast and dinner with my three kids and we all loved it. Excellent service, all meals provided with half portions and a lovely menu. I had the most delicious chicken burger with blue cheese and bacon I have ever had. Really relaxed and laid back but was consistently good. My kids bought ice... More
