Visited this restaurant in early June. We decided to go at the last minute and we arrived at two minutes to eight when they close at eight. No problem at all! We were made to feel very welcome and did not feel hurried or under pressure. We ordered the spicy chowder and the belly pork sandwich between us and are... More

The exterior of this cafe is very inviting - sky blue signage and blooming window boxes. When we sat inside, it was a bit cramped and there was a burning smell coming from the kitchen area. We ordered anyway as we were hungry - lovely waitress - thinking that we should probably have gone somewhere else that the cafe didn't... More

Large group of us were in need of some sustenance after a rainy walk around dingle. Couldn't recommend the chowder highly enough, beautiful fish and very flavoursome.

Main problem that when I tried to order Chowder in the Chowder Cafe they appeared completely bemused and said they were still serving breakfast at gone noon. Service was pleasant, chowder was good and the bill reasonable

My family and I are from Belfast, had our first trip to Dingle town this week and stumbled across this quaint cafe. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who promptly showed us to a table, and even though it was quite busy (to be expected in the height of the tourist season), was very attentive, offering us a highchair,... Not really suitable for families with small children. The restaurant is very small and difficult to enter with a stroller. When I entered was hard to move with stroller and when I folded it down asked was there somewhere to put it and was told they don't know. Then when I asked a second time waitress said "try to squeeze... More

Seriously. Breaded monk fish was fabulous. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. It was a very warm day, so the cafe was a bit hot. Overall very satisfied customers.

I order chowder whenever I get the chance, and this one was top notch! We got carryouts to take on a picnic, which were packed to travel well.

We did a tour and the bus stopped in Dingle so we could walk around and grab lunch. It was a great little restaurant. I ordered their Salmon which rested upon mash potatoes and had an amazing sauce to it. It was by far one of the best meals I had while in Ireland.
