We made a reservation with Doyle's based on its top Trip Advisor rating and it carried through for us. We had an early seating and ordered scallops, chili shrimp, a trio of shellfish, and plaice (whitefish) plus we split a toffee pudding, a bottle of wine, and ended with an 18 yr Jamesons for around 145 Euro (the alcohol was... We all had fish (of course) and were well pleased by the innovative cuisine. Sea bass, salmon, hake and trout were all excellent. Tomato soup was very tomato-y, not at all like the usual cream concoction. The mushroom risotto as a starter was out of this world. Staff was tip top, only wish we had room for dessert as it... More

We were recommended to try this restaurant. Fussy eaters as we are we booked and were not disappointed. Staff very welcoming. Menu offered very good choice. Both of us had prawn starters of different kind both were mouth watering. My duck was fall off bone on red cabbage and parsnip puree ...lovely. My friend opted for steak medium well.. a... More

In a town with a good choice of restaurants this has to be the best. The menu has a good range of choices & the early bird is a good option if you want a more reasonably priced meal (though this limits your choices a little). The service is friendly & efficient without being rushed. Highly recommended.

Taking the recommendation from trip advisor we chose this restaurant over out of the blue. located in town (not on the water) the place was quaint with warm feelings within. The service was impeccable. The food over the top. The grilled oysters were the best appetizer we had on our trip of ten days, Davids seafood pasta was the best... More

This indeed was some of the best seafood that we've ever had. The restaurant manager makes the whole event even more spectacular.

We had booked a table on a Saturday well in advance because a big adventure drive was taking place in Dingle. All the other patrons were local people which is always a good sign. We went all the way and ate as much seafood as we could - oysters, lobster, scallops the lot. Everything was very fresh, mouth-wateringly tasty and... More

Ate here during the early bird and it was delicious. Started with the seafood chowder. Very nice broth and good collection of seafood. Then had calamari salad which had a lovely Thai dressing. Finished up with seafood risotto. Was so good I was afraid my husband might lick the plate. Very good service. Highly recommend.

Our family's meal at Doyle's exceeded all expectations, quality seafood, service and ambience. The seafood could not have been fresher or better prepared. The meal was moderately pricy but in light of the overall quality experience I consider it a good value, particularly compared to some dinning experiences throughout Ireland ,Italy and France. We don't have one negative in our experience at... More
