We wanted to go to Out of the Blue down the road- but they were booked. The lovely waitress there called several places and luckily the Chart House had room. The service was excellent- our waitress so friendly and helpful. The breads were amazing - curry infused soda bread! The chowder was great- all our food well prepared with an... More

Having made a reservation for 3 people a few hours earlier, we arrived slightly earlier than our appointed time to find our table had been given away to 3 other imposters. When the restaurant realised their mistake, they were so apologetic. They quickly got another table ready for us - though it was a table set for 2 they added... More

This may be the best seafood restaurant I have ever experienced. It is located right on the docks in Dingle allowing the outstanding kitchen access to the freshest possible locally sourced seafood as the fishing boats return and unload right in front of you. My last visit I started with the mussels as an appetizer. They were wonderful and the... More

Love this restaurant, first visit and I hope I will get back there again as not from the area, the setting is lovely and even though they were busy we got a fast and warm welcome and shown to our table. I had both specials the starter and main course they were fantastic super flavours and great portions even though... More

We both ordered the Seafood Chowder for an appetizer and the Scallops for the main entree. One of the best seafood dinners we have had in a long time! Highly recommend!

Tired from a long drive, we stumbled upon this lovely restaurant based on a review in Rick steve's Ireland guide. Excellent mussels and seafood. Recommended!

Walking into the restaurant, our eyes were greeted by warm woods, low lights, splashes of color and an "ah" moment. Fully intent on ordering fish as we were, one of us ordered steak and the other lamb shank. The preparation and presentation was artistic and the first bite told us we are tasting a thoughtfully prepared, perfectly cooked meal. We... More

We had a really good meal at The Chartthouse, I'm not a huge fish lover so was good to get such a good selection of meat dishes as lots of Dingle restaurants are all seafood. Very nice indeed.

The interior is very open and clean and service was professional, but the flavors were not memorable and I found prices to be a bit high for what we got. We ordered a salad, a trio of toasted items, and a steak for 50. It was nice enough but I wouldn't return if I were staying longer.
