Great Meal after a Long Walk Around Dingle

Entrees of Black Sole and Prawns were excellent. Staff was very attentive and able to answer any question we posed to them The wine was well chosen but somewhat plagued by a high mark-up. No restaurant seems "cheap" in Dingle. Having said that, you can't expect top notch local sea food for the... read more

Based on reviews, I was expecting a lot more from this place. You pay for ambiance and presentation, along with freshness of the fish. Taste-wise however, I felt that this place left something to be desired. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal, but for what you pay, I just was expecting a little... More

We had the pleasure of having dinner at Out of the Blue one night while we were in Dingle. This cozy restaurant by the harbor only opens if the fishermen have a good catch. The menu varies every day- based on what is caught. Most amazing food- beautifully prepared in a wonderful atmosphere. It's expensive, but worth every penny. I... More

This was one of the best meals I have ever had. We started with oysters, had an array of fresh shellfish(I had langoustines), and then a wonderful passionfruit icecream and iles flottantes. Not cheap but really good value for the quality.

OOTB has a great rep and we were warned that reservations were a must. Extensive seafood menu on blackboard, based on that day's catch. Service was attentive and the food was delicious, although there was a lot going on, on the plate. Fish was cooked perfectly.

My husband and I had a really top notch meal here. The service was friendly and fast, the food really was awesome (expensive but awesome) we had oysters, garlicky prawns, lobster and black sole.. All were faultless. I would have given 5* except the sides were a little tasteless and boring and it's a little cramped in there. The family... More

High quality seafood restaurant in Dingle harbor. Wen't here twice of our tree day journey (that tells something) in Dingle. Chowder was delicious! Service was very nice both times. We went without reservation and we're lucky to get a table, so make a reservation to make sure you fit in.

If you like fish make a point of eating in OOTB. The tardis effect of the cabin like entrance opening into a very classy restaurant is fun, the tiny kitchen is in full view on your way in. The value menu is excellent if you eat early. I had fabulous mussels, but the main course hake was the best fish... More

From the outside looks more like a Fish & Chips place, but thats not true! You find a remarkable good seafood place which has signs when you enter: '"sorry we don't serve fish & chips" and " all fish is fresh" We truly enjoyed the food. Highly recommended, but be in time when you go for lunch... when the huge... More
