We have been holidaying in Dingle for many years now and always checked out the menu for Global Village. Previous years have found it a bit too "fishy" which I totally accept given that we are in a fishing port! Sadly, of our party of four I do not like fish under any disguise. However this year the menu did... More

I used to be a regular visitor to Dingle, but last week I was there for the first time in a few years to check out how its changed. This place used to be a quiet reasonable, if unexceptional restaurant. I went with two friends, without particularly high expectations - I was surprised to see that the prices had gone... More

We had the best meal of our trip here. We had steak and sole/hake. Split a dessert that looked like artwork. Finished with a glass of port. Everything was very well prepared and presented. A bit on the high end for price but worth it.

We had a great meal and stellar service. Everything was fresh and a lot of thought went into the menu. Yet another spot where the chef respects the raw materials and endeavors to bring out their natural goodness.

While my husband was put off by the delicacy of the meal , I thoroughly enjoyed how fancy and unique the meals was. The prices were on the higher end but properly placed for what this restaurant offers. The atmosphere is quaint and soothing, the server very smart on her knowledge of all the menu items. If I remember correctly... More

I visit Ireland every two years to see family but always stop in Dingle first. The Global Village has been a regular stop for me. After a long days travel I know I can look forward to an excellent meal and good service. Again I was not disappointed. I typically order 2 starters instead of an entrée. Just the right... More

Great, great restaurant. Probably the best meal we had (among many great meals) in Ireland. We would definitely go back here if we return to Dingle.

we didn't have a reservation, we just popped in about 6:00 and were seated quickly. It was busy even though it was fairly early- so I'd recommend making a reservation. we ordered the 3 course- each course had many different tastes and textures showcasing the talent of the chefs and their beautiful preparation of local food. This is the best... More
