2 excellent dinners!

The menu is enticing and the presentation lovely; the food? Just delicious! Locals recommended Global Village, so we went there early in our visit to Dingle. The experience was so great, we decided to return for our final dinner in the area. Loved both meals.

We visited this restaurant with high hopes as we live in dingle and have heard so many great things about the place . Table was booked for 8.30. My friends had arrived at 8.20 and I was late and arrived to the busy restraunt at 8.40.the waitresses hadn't visited the table to offer my friends a drink while they waited... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local in town. At first everything seemed fine. The appetizer was good, and service seemed good. For my main course I had informed my waiter that I was allergic to the sweet breads and liver that was to be served with my dish. He said no problem and would remove it from... More

Great farm fresh food. My husband and I are both vegetarians and we enjoyed the five course vegetarian meal and we couldn't have been happier. We left the restaurant feel full and satisfied. the dishes were delicious, creative and served beautifully on the plate. Staff and service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend this place highly.

The food is really good, probably one of the best in Dingle. The staff is nice and smiling. It is a bit expensive and a bit posh but food's quite worth it. The only slight drawback is that they insist you take starters or drinks because the wait is long. We felt a bit under consumption pressure when we were... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Global Village. We had attended a concert before meal and were running a bit late but still received a warm greeting. The meals are attractive and creative and we really appreciated the use of local ingredients.

It's hard to come to a place like Dingle and to keep coming back to the same places. Why? It's a bustling tourist destination with a constant struggle for the players where "real" vies agains "tourism product" and for the visitor it's hard to discern what's really good about the "local". So Global Village plays with your food. Beef, Lamb... More

There is a lot to like at The Global Village. The food is nicely prepared, the menu is local and organic. It just was not something that I enjoyed. While dinner is expensive, it is the same cost as other restaurants of this quality in the area. The place is small, but no smaller than other restaurants, it just felt... More

We had starter (trio of crab and scallops) and main (lemon sole and mixed fish platter). No desserts. The dishes were ok but not up to the standard that you can expect from the pricing for a total 120 euro incl. a white chardonnay - bio dynamic @ 37 euro Service was very stressful and the noise level in the...
