Great food

We had a family lunch here for my mum's birthday. The food and setting was absolutely beautiful, couldn't fault a single thing with either of those. We all ordered seafood, and it was perfectly cooked. I had some minor niggles. When I arrived with my children, I asked could I do a quick nappy... read more

Best seafood chowder ever. The staff was great. Hi to Maure Crowley. Such a lovely view of Kenmare Bay. This place is worth the short drive.

The two famous Brennan brothers own this along side the 5 star Park Hotel in Kenmare. Setting is amazing as is the food . Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Varied menu menu with local foods used.

Our lunch here was very good the atmosphere is friendly and light with a blue and white sea/boating theme, the building looks out onto the picturesque islands in Kenmare Bay and the mountains on the opposing peninsular, the staff are cheerful and pleasant there's a good choice on the menu and on the reverse an excellent selection of quality gin's... Ate here for second time and it did not disappoint. I was away with my friend for the weekend and we ordered starter to share and main course each. Starter was crab mouse which was gorgeous. Mains were fab and very friendly staff made experience excellent. Only pity was the weather! Would recommend if in Kenmare.

Myself and my partner, have been coming here for a few years now. The food is always impeccable. A particular favourite of mine, is their beef burger. Definitely the best burger I've ever tasted. Used to come here quite a lot when I was pregnant and now my son is here, two years on, the staff are always so interested... More

I can't praise this place highly enough. The food, staff, wine and setting are all completely beyond reproach. Best seafood restaurant for miles around. And more gin than I even knew existed! Wonderful in every way. If you're visiting Kerry, you'd be mad not to have at least one meal here!

What a fantastic place, we had the loveliest lunch in a wonderful setting. Excellent staff, well trained and efficient. It was good value for money, I had the fishcake to start and the calamari for mains, both excellent... Ordered the sweetpotato chips, they are a must have!! My husband had chowder and the fillet steak, both also excellent. Great relaxed... More

I attended a large function at the boathouse. We were given permission to remove/ twist away pillars so we could drive the car closer to the building. However, there is no sloping entry to the building, restroom or even the outdoor seating area. Strangers very kindly came over to assist with lifting the wheelchair and the person in it down...
