Rose Garden definitely does the best fry in Kenmare, which is a must every Sunday morning. The place is often full on a Sunday morning. The rest of the menu is quite limited however, and the pastries are quite expensive, tasty however but not worth that price. Ambience is nice, however it does feel like you are eating breakfast in... Stayed here 3 nights September 22, 2014. Very friendly hosts - gave me great tips on sights to see that I didn't come across in my online research of Co. Kerry like Healy Pass that cuts across the Ring of Beara/Beara Peninsula loop. Owned by a Frenchman who was looking to open up a French cafe in Ireland - they... More

Called in this morning to buy fresh baguette and pastries for breakfast. Great value and the baguette was freshly cooked.

I live in Kenmare & have been to most places fro breakfast etc. The full Irish breakfast is amazing, although a little pricey but its worth it. But i would avoid the scrambled egg like the plague,it is absolutely vile, like warm egg mayonnaise, even the look of it would turn most stomach's. So if its a full breakfast you want,go here,if its... Had two lunches here during our weeks holiday. It's one of the best places around. The croque madame, ravioli and all day breakfast are great. It's rare to get a proper bechamel sauce on a croque madame in Ireland. Our local connections rave about the baked goods but I'd rate the savouries every bit as highly! It's a good place-... More

Don't be deceived by the frontage of this house. The pastries were second to none I have ever tasted. The custard tart surpassed all expectations. What a find!! You wouldn't know it was there unless someone recommended it as it is just outside Kenmare town. The Baguettes were even home made. A must visit if ever in Kenmare. Excellent value.... More

The room was clean, with comfortable beds, however, the decor was a little dated, with a tiny TV. We were able to get Wi-Fi. The best thing about this place was the breakfast. We ordered the continental breakfast, it came with excellent tea & coffee, a plate with a small variety of sliced salmi and cheese slices, the pastries were... More
