Good Pub Meal

This is your typical Irish pub but the meal was very good and the service was great. The atmosphere is nice and not too noisy. It is located right on the main street and has some outside seating for a before dinner drink.

Very hospitable staff. A great meal and a most enjoyable folk singer with lots of opportunity to participate and quench the dry throat with a pint of Murphys.

We went for lunch on our way touring the peninsula. The place was cozy but the food was just okay. We ordered roast chicken and burger. The burger was dry and the milkshake was served not chilled. The chicken was better though. Overall wasn't too impressed with the experience.

Stopped in for lunch while en route to Cork and had a great meal. The service was good and friendly and the sandwiches and soups were first class. I highly recommend the seafood chowder.

We had a very nice dinner there in a comfortable booth. I recommend the beef stew as well as the sea food stew. The staff were very very nice. They offer live music on some nights as well. The desserts were also quite good.

Our party of 6 had a great dinner here in May and we loved our server and his sense of humor! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Live music was nice too. I would love to go back!

Not only was the pub good with good service, but the live music was great and we danced and laughed. They also run a B&B which is located above it and it was very nice too. Irish breakfast was yummy! I will stay at this B&B the if I return to Kenmare.

I've had several meals here and usually stuck to the locally sourced Irish fare. Last night I decided to try the Sirloin steak and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It's very difficult to prepare a 10 oz steak to medium rare and still get the proper char. This one was perfect. Accompanied by chunky chips,... More

The Irish stew was delicious, as well as the cottage pie! The service was quick and friendly. Would definitely stop by again next time we visit this beautiful country!
