What a fantastic dining out experience it is at Tom Crean Fish and Wine. I decided on the new Gaelic Tapas menu and was not disappointed, wonderful menu, food cooked to perfection and served by efficient, pleasant and informative staff. Of course the dining rooms complement the gorgeous food with amazing photo's and accounts of both Tom Crean and his... More

Dear reader, Sitting down to a meal with a roaring fireplace in front, and the portrait of one of Ireland's greatest heroes and legendary Antarctic Explorer, Tom Crean behind, my only concern was, will the food match the surroundings? I was blown away. I had read previous reviews, I knew this place was good but I wasn't expecting to be... More

I was really impressed by this great restaurant. The staff were warm, friendly and absolutely professional. The room was cosy with a turf fire burning and decorated with images and memorabilia relating to Tom Crean, the Antarctic explorer. Despite all that, it was the food that stole the show - I had the black pudding parcel and the most perfectly... More

Family run, super food, great prices and nice atmosphere. No harm to book in advance. We dined around 19:30, no rush to finish, attention from staff was friendly and professional.

Kenmare has lots of good quality restaurants and this is one of them. The food and service was very good. It was quiet the time we went (only one other customer there) so it is difficult to comment on the atmosphere.

Tom Creans restaurant served beautiful food in historical surroundings. I found the staff and service excellent but it was quite cold in the dining room, although it could have been the unusually cold spell outside. The food was beautiful, especially the fresh fish. Good for casual dining and special occasions.

Service was really good but food was just okay. Was overpriced for what we got. A bottle of Kenmare beer was $6.50!
