This pub was highly recommended by our concierge in Killarney, so we made the trek over the mountain (a 40 minute ride) to Foley's. First the good: My husband had the roast of the day, which was stuffed pork. It and the accompanying gravy, mash, veggies, and apple sauce were all delicious, and he absolutely loved it all. Now the... More

We visited on a rainy Monday night and the bar was slow but well staffed. I had the bangers and mash but substituted chips for the mash. The bangers were melt-in-your-mouth tender and the chips were fresh cut and steaming hot. The onion gravy on the bangers would have been better on mash but was still quite good. My wife... More

Good food, great Smithwicks! We are here twice at night and have varied items. It was great. We tried fish/chips, irish stew, shepards pie, and of course lots of Smithwicks.

Menu had a good range of pub meals. Prices were reasonable. Service (from an Aussies) was very good. Meals were of a good pub standard.

Traditional decor compiled with efficient genuine staff providing excellent product. Yes this is what we experienced at Foley's May Bank Holiday Sunday. After experiencing a downpore of unwelcome May rain, feeling peekish wet and cold we observed an array of attractive loking eatries on the street, however the appetising dislayed Menu outside Foley's tempeted us to step inside. The exterior of Foley's is pretty nice and I can certainly understand how it attracts the weary and hungry traveller, the interior is a little tired but clean and presentable. The establishment is split into two with a traditional pub one side and restaurant diner the other. So all good so far the problem here is the food it's really... More
