We arrived at Foley's just before the main evening service, and the waitress explained we might have a 20 minute wait, but took our order anyway. Less than 5 minutes later our starters had arrived! I always enjoy a vegetable soup in Ireland, and this was no disappointment. My salmon was cooked beautifully and the sauce was very tasty. The... More

I had just completed the 160km Rebel Tour Cycle and had quite an appetite built up. The steak priced at just €21.95 in Foleys was cooked as ordered and tasted amazing, followed on by crepes for desert.

After recommendations from our lodge staff had to stop in for Guiness and Irish music late one night and weren't disappointed! Sat at the bar and the restaurant was full of both tourists and locals. Once the father & son group started playing the place became very lively! The musicians sang some great tunes and all of the audience sang... More

The beef and Guinness pie is good. Avoid the Shepard's pie. Chocolate and Rum pudding is actually a cake. Service was a notch or two above the usual slow European/British/Irish pace. The prices are reasonable, but there is better food in this town.

Food is good as well. Loved the friendly atmosphere. It's mostly a local place, not many tourists. The music starts around 10 pm so you might plan a late dinner and have dessert - recommend the mussels with garlic cream and the toffee pudding cake.

I had the best lamb burger ever. It was exactly what I was craving and more. Up until now the best I found was in Banff Canada. This is far better. The chefs name is Paul. Great cook. My husband had bangers and mash and loved it. Highly re ommend Paddy Foleys in Kenmare to anyone visiting Ireland. Staff was... More

Didn't dine but instead visited for drinks and traditional Irish music with Dan O'Sullivan - he is excellent and it is worth visiting to listen to him and enjoy a drink.

We tried two other pubs that provided live entertainment, before settling on Foleys. The food was memorable (Guiness Pie exceptional), plenty of it and well priced. But really this was the best atmosphere and entertainment we experienced in our two weeks in Ireland. So good that we came back every night for three nights. The wait staff were under pressure... While on vacation in Kenmare with my family, we stopped at Foley's for something to eat. This is an ideal spot for families, great selection for adults and kids on the menu and the food was great. Price of meal matched what we got, very good standard and the kids were happy with what they got. It was so good,... More
