Pub Grub

This was recommended by our B & B owner. It was perfect for a pleasant dinner at a good price. My omelette was great but chips OR a salad would have plenty. The fish cakes were delicious. The fish and chips couldn't have been better. Kathy was a excellent server.

We dined at Foleys on three occasions over the last 9 months on two trips to Ireland. Foleys unfortunately is way down there on the Trip Advisor list, and that prompted this review. Foleys appeals to a broad range of diners, mainly tourists in the restaurant side and locals in the bar. They also welcome families. When you appeal to... More

My husband got the lamb special, and it was amazing! I am not a big meat eater and was very hesitant to try this but figured "hey, when in Rome..." It was definitely worth it! I had a seafood pasta that was great as well. Wonderful price too!

Though we didn't dine at the restaurant, my wife and I enjoyed our evening at Foley's. A singer of traditional Irish ballads performed, and mixed classic Irish tunes with Leadbelly's "Goodnight Irene" and others. Local ales were on tap along with the ubiquitous Guinness, and the bar staff were attentive and personable. Next time I'm in Kenmare I hope to... More

I ordered the Guinness Stew and it was the best meal I had on the entire 10 day trip. The food in Ireland is amazing so to say that this was the best of the best it really had to be something outstanding and it was. And it was one of the lesser expensive meals I had on our trip.... More

We eat here a few times on our visit to kenmare as it was great for all the family. Was reasonably priced compared to some places and they also served a lovely bite to eat. I also tried some of the craft beers they stock wish I will look for again. They went down nicely.

Fun spot to eat in Kenmare. I had delicious baby back pork ribs with fries and a salad. My husband had a chicken pasta with garlic bread that was also very tasty. Recommend eating here.
