We had a suggestion to have dinner here. Great Guiness Beef and Irish Stew, we ate here twice while in Kenmare. Service could be improved as a bill was brought and the waitress had forgotten to bring the dessert I had ordered. Music was not good with a very bad speaker system. Food is average. Make sure to order water and not sodas because that will double your bill. Burgers have big chunks of onions which disgusted my children so their meals were a wash.

My family and I ate here this week Kenmare seems to hold strict timings for lunch and dinner, we were caught out and hungry at 5pm and this was all that would serve family friendly food. The atmosphere was not great, a grubby bar pretending to be a restaurant. The food was awful. I had bangers and mash and it... More

Rooms very nice, great location. Didn't have to get in car to go anywhere. Central location. Food excellent. Just no means for getting up stairs, so if any disability, this is not for you.

Called in for some lunch with my 80 year old Mother and some other family members Wednesday 19th 2015. It was not busy and our orders were taken quickly and arrived quickly. The food was hit and miss. The Beef and Guiness stew was tasty and the fish freshly cooked. The burger was passable but the Chicken Kiev, the Pasta... More

Hi Phillip L, We are sorry to hear that your experience at Foley's was of a mixed bag. The stew and our fresh cod and chips are among our best sellers - perhaps it's time to rethink the salads! Thanks for your feedback and kind regards from the team at Foley's. More

Very friendly pub/restaurant. Stumbled upon here on our first night and returned many a time. Great Irish food we recommend the irish stew and beef and guinness pie. Friendly staff who ordered us a taxi one day without purchasing anything! Has free Wifi, live music and great choice of soft and alcoholic drinks. Worth a visit :)

We had dinner one night, and drinks two nights during our stay in Kenmare. Follies was a lively, friendly place to go for a pint, cider or coffee. We had great music both nights we were there. The bartenders and waiters were very friendly. Food was good.

Kenmare is a wonderful place to visit with an abundance of restaurants to eat in. We walked into O'Dunabhain's first and asked for the two tables inside the door for four of us to have dinner & was told by the two barmen we couldn't have them. We would have to sit down the back in a booth as they... More

The food was superb and this restaurant by far, seemed to be the more popular establishment in Kenmare. There was a long wait line at dinnertime, but we were seating quickly and although it was a little crowded, the food was definitely worth the crowded seating. The beers were ice cold and food was superb! The fish and chips were... More
