We had dinner at wild garlic. The food was first rate. Superb local ingredients prepared in the most imaginative way. The staff were friendly and well informed. Excelent service snd extremly well priced for the type of food. By far the best meal I had in Ireland to date.

Now Mulcahys this super restaurant never fails to amaze. Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble but of course tag equality of the food is why we return every time we're in Kenmare. Another great night thank you.

We chose this restaurants on the Foders book recommendation, everything about the meal was great from the complementary feta cheese Starter to the desert. One of the best restaurants in Ireland.

It is by far the best meal we have had in Ireland!!!! We were busy doing the Ring Of Beara that we skipped lunch and choose to have an early supper. The muse bouche was a mousse of feta cheese with candied beet root. The breads were excellent served with butter and an olive Parmesan tepanade. Our entres were halibit... More

The restaurants in Kenmare set the bar very high, but Wild Garlic raised it further. The best meal I've had in a long time and the staff are very helpful and friendly. 10 out of 10 all round.

While visiting Kenmare this week, 13th to 15th April 2014 we (four of us) found Mulcahys of Kenmare to be one of a few restaurants to be open on a Monday night. We were greeted by two waitresses who made us feel at home. The food at this restaurant is amazing. I had prawn parcels with peppers and balsamic to... More

Kenmare is a rare jewel in Ireland, it is filled with fantastic restaurants. Lucky for us, we have family that live there and often have the pleasure of dining out. On our last visit we tried Mulcahy's for the first time and were extremely happy. The only disappointment was that we had not tried it on any of our earlier... More

Wild Garlic, which now goes by the name "Mulcahy's", was a real surprise in Kenmare, as the quality of food was leagues above the usual level I would have expected in a town of this size. We ate here two nights, and in both cases the whole experience was flawless: the staff were friendly and efficient; the dining room nicely... More

We ate here on Fri night on recommendation & we were not disappointed. The service at the start was excellent & our waitress was very attentive. The bread was fresh & served warm with butter & pesto. We also received a super amuse bouche. We both had starters & mains, a bottle of Malbec & shared a dessert. The bill... More
