New location - same excellent experience

I recently ate in Mulcahy's as a part of a work night out. I have eaten there before when it was located on Henry Street but this was a first since the move to Main Street. The new location is beautiful and the decor subdued and relaxing. I love the light fixtures. It's great that a full bar is... read more

Great friendly staff, amazing food, open early in the evenings and also a really good wine list. Service was really fast, food was creative, well presented, packed with flavour. also discovered Mulcahy's is open on Monday nights. Parking was really easy to find. Selection of Breads were amazing I just wanted to bring them home for breakfast !!

Return visit and was looking forward to seeing the new location and experiencing the warm welcome, excellent service and savouring the delicious food. Most importantly the menu, nor the quality of the quality of the food didn't disappoint. Your chef is clearly one the best there is. Was pleasantly surprised by the bill. You could pay double in a city... More

The address given for the restaurant on TripAdvisor and Yelp is not current, so we had a little trouble finding it. Although all the reviews were better then average we enjoyed parts of the dining experience but not all. Service was a bit slow, but that may have been intentional, as other diners looked relaxed, we may have been a... More

A friend and I were in Kenmare over the May bank holiday and lucky for us we booked this restaurant for an early dinner - at 5PM!! When we arrived we were the only ones there but the warmth of the welcome and the beautiful dining room made us feel very comfortable. The menu is very good and the wine... More

Great little restaurant, a very warm welcome, we loved everything about this place, it's a little gem of a restaurant, We had the crab claws in garlic, the scallops & beef wellington which were all very lovely indeed. The brown treacle soda bread was my personal favourite.

Hadn't tried here before and was very impressed with our meal from start to finish. True Irish hospitality and service from start to finish with quality food to boot. Nice mellow, quiet atmosphere. Really enjoyed this place. My only complaint? Well, I found it extremely warm in there. I was glad to keep my coat off for a few minutes... More
