A dinner for 4 on a Friday evening in mid August. Possibly the best food in Kenmare [we didn’t try the Park]. Chowder and Mushroom soup, Seabass and Duck, Crepes and Crumble. Every dish was delicious and each combined exciting and, in some cases, unexpected flavours. The decor was great and the restaurant was full as one would expect. The... More

We had dinner for six at Lime Tree. The menu has an excellent variety. We had lamb, hake, duck, chicken steak, and vegetarian entrees. We ate every morsel. There is a two-course option for 33 or three course option for 39. The daily special menu has a reasonable supplement for items such as lobster and filet mignon. You can also... More

We had booked in here at the end of June for a hen party .Private room upstairs which was ideal.Service was a bit slow at times but staff were very friendly .Food and wine was fab and I would definitely recommend the Thai fish cakes as they were the delicious.

We booked the private gallery upstairs for my sisters hen party. We had heard great things about the Lime Tree. It did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations! Having the private room was fantastic. We could play music, decoarate it, get on with our hen party games and antics without annoying anyone. It was ideal. The food we had was a... More

The Lime Tree is set in an old schoolhouse that had been beautifully refurbished as a restaurant. It has a calm feel and is a place where you can relax and enjoy wonderful food, starting with their olive tapenade and house bread. Next came the Thai fish cakes, which have to be the best fish cakes I've eaten (and I... More

The best meal we had in Kenmare, including better than Sheen Falls! Food was delicious, had a quiet table by the fireplace. Great, reasonably priced bottle of wine ... totally a lovely evening!

Simply loved it. Romantic interior, excellent food, good wine, lovely people. Best desert ever, if you like rhubarb, try the rhubarb crumble!

We went there as I have had great meals there before but it was a shame to see that the only vegetarian option was goat's chees & beetroat for main course and either soup or goats's cheese again as a starter! A little imagination and this could be a great place
