One of the friendliest village pubs you're ever likely to visit AND get a fantastic meal with first class real ales and wines.

I had slow cooked lamb, which melted in the mouth, and my girlfriend had the faitas, which she said were lovely. Both the... More

Called in for lunch, there was a pleasant barman, the place was nice and warm and the food was very good, we didn't have to wait long for it either. Will definitely be back.

Food was a little slow coming out but salmon was excellent, fish and chip portion huge, all other food was lovely. Only gripe was that Brussel sprouts and carrots were pretty much raw... More

We were staying in the village at the Crown Hotel which was also excellent with our 15 year old son and his friend. The Wheatsheaf's menu was extensive and very reasonably priced and the pub had a good choice of real ales and appears in the CAMRA Good Pub Guide. The Locally brewed Corby ale was particularly good. A word... More

The inn was quiet a change form the lunch time rush, with a car park fit to burst. The welcome was warm and friendly despite our unfamiliar faces in the village, the food was absolutely delicious,...
