This restaurant is a real gem! We ended up there on a Sunday night, when everything else was closed around Puy l’Eveque and this place was a great find. The kitchen is opening onto a cosy room with a big fireplace in the middle used by the host, Eric to grill the meat. The owners (a couple: Olga in the... More

The Lot is blessed with many small local restaurants serving local food at reasonable prices. This is a little different because of the indoor barbecue on which much of the meat is prepared. The food is uncomplicated, but the ingredients are of a good quality and presentation, while simple, is attractive. The meat was a highlight. There is a menu... More

We were recommended this restaurant by Tony and Karen at La Therniere in Prayssac - and we were not dissapointed! The food is excellent and, according to the meal chosen, cooked on the open fire in the dining room. I had a steak on one evening which was so tender it really did virtually "melt in the mouth". We also... More

We were looking forward to returning here as a highlight of our annual stay in the area. Yet again we were not disappointed - the food and service provided by Olga and Eric was outstanding. Very tasty set menu at 24 euros - good value and well priced wine list, house wines are worth a try. A very enjoyable lunch.

Very comfortable and friendly restaurant, with varied menu and keenly priced house wine. Speciality grills on charcoal fire, cooked to perfection. Varied a la carte menu plus a great 4 course set menu at Eu 25 approx which is excellent value for money. Don't forget the house wine which is great quality at a budget price. You will be made... This delightful restaurant was recommended to us by the Chambre d'hotes we stayed at, and what a good recommendation it was! The menu was very enticing and we had a delicious meal in pleasant, relaxing surroundings. The service and attention to detail were both first class and the meal was very good value for money. We will certainly return if... More

Good food, comfortable restaurant, welcoming hosts - especially helpful to one of our party who, following an arm injury, couldn't use one hand. Her food was nicely prepared for easy eating!

I liked La Vigne Haute very much. The guest house we stayed in at Crayssac recommended this restaurant as a place that offered good cooking at correct prices (or so they said), and so it turned out to be, The menu (EUR23.50) offers four courses, all of which were well cooked and served with a smile. I don't think that... More

We received a warm welcome, sat in a comfortable and spotlessly clean dining room and watched Olga prepare a very tasty and satisfying lunch in the attached kitchen. The service was professional, attentive but not intrusive. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.
