Decent stop

Stopped today for our tea. The service was pleasant and reasonably quick. I had the 6oz burger which came with a generous helping of skinny fries and a side of coleslaw. My wife and son had the scampy, which also came with sides of chips, tartar dip and mushy peas. The food overall was decent... read more

Our family went to Pretty Mary's pub/restaurant this evening and we had a fabulous experience all round. At just after '5pm it was relatively quiet and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful with speedy service. The penne pasta dish was absolutely delicious with chargrilled chicken and roasted vegetables coated in a mouth watering creamy red pepper sauce. The... More

Pretty Mary's on Moira main street is a great traditional pub serving really great pub food. I know that sounds like chips with everything but that's not the case. The menu is varied, interesting and ably cooked to a good standard. Add a few drinks from the well stocked, usually busy, bar and what more could you ask for.

Other people have mentioned the service before but there was obviously not enough staff. Our party was 10 people and the whole bar was busy but our waiters, although pleasant, were servicing the restaurant aswell as the bar. It took three and a half hours from arriving, doing 3 courses and getting the bill. We almost never got desserts because... More

Visited in the summer for a family meal and was not impressed with the food. I got the chicken schnitzel which was totally bland and covered in cheese. Someone else had the salmon fillet which they didn't like and said was full of bones. Someone else had the duck main course which consisted mostly of fat and very little meat.... More

Called in on a Sunday Lunch looking for something light rather than a heavy meal and found the staff wonderful and accommodating. My husband has a love of fish and when he saw they did a Seafood Chowder we had no hesitation in going in Especially as it was the first place we found that did this dish since we... More

After a busy day out and about our group of 4 was tired and very hungry. We had a really tasty roast dinner, with delicious roast vegetables cooked to perfection. It was the 3rd time I went there and I will be back for sure.
