Had a party of 10 at the Pot Belly for New Year's Eve and enjoyed another excellent meal. The restaurant was packed and the staff rose to the occasion with a superb meal, despite the numbers. The Pot Belly enjoys a reputation as one of the best in the area, and indeed further afield, and this accolade is richly deserved.... More

This restaurant is quaint and somewhat 'different.' Food is good and the Early Bird menu provides a saving for a whole family. In winter it can be a little cold so wrap up!

Are here in April and have to say the food was lovely. The old barn house style medieval style is great for the feel of the place and it definitely is an experience. The food is slightly on the high side but you get what you pay for so a once in a while meal is worth it in my... More

Hadn't been for a whole so me and hubby booked a table for last night. I had Pot Belly mushrooms at 5.95 per portion. They were not home made and couldn't find the pate, sorry guys, these were out of a freezer bag. Hubby had the special green lip mussels. The juices they were in was really good, but we're... More

Went to the potbelly with family for graduation celebration. The restaurant is a beautiful building's_: converted from an old bleaching mill with a lot of its character still retained. The interior decor is very enchanting bringing the mill back to life. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. The food was absolutly out of this world. There was a great... More

Rang to make a booking with the intention of using my £100 voucher which was only 2 days past the expiry date but was told on the phone that they would not honour it. Previously, I have had recently expired vouchers for other restaurants which they would always honour. I could understand if it had been 2 weeks or a... More

Had a fantastic fillet steak at the Pot Belly, evening dinner, excellently cooked, recommend the mushrooms and squid starters too, the whole meal was superbly cooked and superbly presented by a very attentive front of house staff! The greeting was warm, lovely ambience in the upstairs bar before descending to the restaurant which is warm and buzzing!. Although the restaurant... More
