Had some lunch but I didn't get all of my meal as stated in the menu. The food prices had not been updated on the website so ended up paying more than expected and got less than expected. Quite disappointed about that.

In an age where so many pubs are reconstituted, renovated or closed, the Sycamore is the genuine article. Unpretentious and friendly, it has a limited selection of good ales including a personal favourite: "Old Tom". The food is hearty and fresh and the landlord friendly. It has lots of awards and wears them lightly. Not big and not clever, just... More

It is a lovely pub and shop, all staff and locals are friendly and welcoming. They also have great food, and some really lovely specials on the specials board. Well worth a visit if you are in parwich. We had a fantastic time. Mr and Mrs Bain.

After reading a couple of reviews on tripadvisor, we took the walk up the steep hill to this lovely pub. Entering the pub, we were greeted by the landlady Becky. She was friendly, attentive, everything you require. We ordered, two steak and ale pies, chilli and scampi. All of our party agreed that the meals were lovely as well as... More

Lovely gluten free meal at the Sycamore again last night. Traditional pub with gorgeous food and great company. Being sensitive to even the smallest trace of gluten, the Sycamore has been a great find for me. 10/10

visited the sycamore inn for an evening meal , it having been recommended to us. We found the menu slightly limited, so opted for a steak. It was fairly bland. Not very comfortable surroundings and people constantly walking by table as we were eating. The staff were friendly enough and ale good.

It's a walk up a steep(ish) hill to reach it, but good food and value await. There's a reasonable variety on the menu, with locally sourced good quality ingredients forming the basis of the well-cooked meals. There are good-sized helpings, a friendly welcome, a genuine desire to serve the customers, and the whole thing was a good value evening meal
