Koo Coffee opened it's door in September 2006, inspired by our dream of creating a unique but affordable coffee and dinning experience that people would remember. After many months of searching, a local building that was once a fondly remembered delicatessen since 1928 became available and after 3 months of hands on labouring we finally opened our doors to a expectant neighbourhood. After spending months searching and tasting, for the best coffee, we are proud to be associated with Puro coffee, a unique and fabulous tasting fair trade bean of which we have exclusivity to in the area. As well as great coffee, which is "good all day!" Koo prides itself on offering a simple yet sophisticated menu, full of great fresh continental produce sourced internationally as well as locally. Not only does Koo offer great coffee and food but we go one step further and we offer great wines which you can sample in one of our increasingly popular wine tasting events.

Try the lemon and blueberry cake!

Great little place. Only been here for breakfast but the food is great and good quality coffee too. Couldn't resist the lemon and blueberry cake which is to die for but I have had to take half of it away in a carry out bag! Lovely friendly and polite staff. Will be coming again.

I visited here with one of my team and as always, really enjoyed the visit. I had the Goats Cheese and Caramelised Onion on Tasca bread and it was delicious. I love it here.

Really great food and good service. I was really surprised that such a small place offered food of this quality. We will definitely be back.

I love this little place, great coffee and great food. I do have one niggle though! If a table is reserved for a certain time then that is OK but manage it better. We arrived and asked if we could have the only outside table that was free and were initially told no. We explained we only wanted a coffee... More

Called in on spec for light lunch and coffee. The coffee was superb. The best I have had in Chesterfield. Pleasant ambience and food excellent as well. Definitely returning to this one.

What a lovely place! Decided to visit for breakfast as fancied somewhere different to go and it didn't disappoint. The flat white coffees are very well done and up to the New Zealand standard me and my husband are used to! My breakfast was very nice, good quality ingredients used (I had eggs Benedict) the reason why we didn't give... More

Nice place, but staff need to tell you what they don't have before you order. Couple of items were apparently sold out, but we only found this out when we tried to order. Food presented nicely but fish cakes very dry, need a sauce. No one came over whilst we were eating so I sat the entire meal with no... More

Was very disappointed on this occasion. They had run out of green tea, also no scones left and it was only 2.30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were offered a choice of cakes/tray bakes and although they were nice enough, I thought £3.95 for a small brownie was a bit steep.

Loved this place, although it sempt very posh and adults only we took our 3 year old in. We absolutely loved it, although there is not a kids menu we found her a cheesy mushroom starter / I had the club sandwich and my husband the soup, I couldn't reccomend this place enough / will definitely be back loved the...
