Great place to eat.

Ate here twice and throughly enjoyed our meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful and meals were tasty and filling.

Having moved to the area recently, this has become my local. I love it in there. Hot summer days in the beer garden or cold wet weather days huddled in the corned with a good book, this pub is like my second home There is a good choice for vegetarians on the menu including an excellent Sunday lunch. They're also... More

Had a couple of pints with a friend. 2 pints, 1 ale 1 lager came to over £8. Staff are really good, but expensive for a quick drink.

This used to be my local before moving some 6 years ago. The landlord still remembered me and was made to feel totally at home (like I'd never left!). I'd brought along some colleagues for lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is cosy and friendly if you like a good local Pub. One small but interesting piece of... More

On the odd Occassion on you're travels you find a jewel in the crown and this restaurant is certainly that. We have dined extensively all over the world and this is one of jewels. An exception restaurant in the middle of the Cotswolds. The tasting menu is a must !!!

Poor food bar staff good. I ordered a meal with chips, when it arrived the plate was very greasy ham, very good, eggs greasy but runny yokes the chips were uncooked. No one came over to ask how the meal was but as I had left all the chips and the salad as if was swimming in grease the guy... More

We went to the pub last night for their quiz night, it was very busy and a great atmosphere. We got served straight away, the food took about 40 minutes to come out but it wasn't a problem as there as a group of friends. My partner had the 20oz steak which was amazing and superb quality. The prices are... More

This is a nice local pub with a friendly staff. But both times I have eaten there, the salad leaves have been unbearably gritty. I complained about it the first time but obviously nothing was done about it. Today my party ordered 4 ploughman's, which were the worst I have ever had - gritty salad leaves, and since when is...
