A tastefully converted chapel, this spot is great to unwind in after shopping. Nice decor and friendly staff make it a pleasant environment. Not sure about evenings, but lunches are good. Drinks are a little pricey - it's not Bath after all - but there is a good variety.

come here on a regular basis for lunch with friends, but over a period of time, it"s lost it"s smiling staff, service is down to one person working bar and food service, no wonder they don't smile, big pressure when your working alone and its busy, someone needs to sort this out before the customers get fed up of waiting... I went in today for the first time, having walked past on several occasions. I have to say that the building itself, a reclaimed chapel, is delightful. However... sticky table tops, which are not unusual for mid-range cafés, stale coffee, and under baked and overpriced pastries didn't endear themselves to me. It's a shame, as it could be so much... Hard to understand how someone can ruin such simple dishes like salad and Hawaian Pizza. Even harder to accept dirty tables and china. We have asked for a new tea cup to replace the one with lipstick smudges on the rim and received another one with a different lipstick colour. This place should be closed for hygiene.

We used to come here alot and always found it a safe bet! Good clean, child friendly etc. However we haven't visited for sometime, not for any particular reason, but on returning today we were disappointed with the cleanliness. To the point that if it wasn't raining we would have left. Child seats, sofas all very grotty and need replacing,... More

Staff seem friendly and the food is good but sadly the atmosphere and the length of time it takes to get food is a little too long dispite it not being that busy. I would say it is a little over priced for its location and the food itself.

I have visited the Century on a number of occasions and have always had a lovely experience. The owner and his son (and the other staff) are incredibly friendly and seem to genuinely have an interest in their customers, with a friendly word here and there without being intrusive. There is a great atmosphere, a mixture of casual and lively.... More
